  1. I thought you were burning the ends of the colored wires with that lighter and I couldn't figure out why the hell they were making all those sparks. Then I realized you were lighting up some sparklers like a kid on the 4th of July. Yes we want to see that smoke test!

  6. ok guys, i have a confession to make. I was so excited about my trunk looking as good as it did, i failed to shut the trunk ALL the way before i took video, pics, and then took it all out and left for the day. The next day i put the side panels back in and then tried to shut the trunk. It only stopped short 8" LOL - WOOPS. The hinges do NOT hit, they pass through very smoothly.....but where the hinges attach to the trunk lid, it is really thick. I didn't pay attention. Anyway, the following pics are me averting disaster and re-doing them AGAIN. Hey, its days like this that can only make you better and sharpen your game! So it looks a little different but to me it looks just as good. I started out by shedding a tear and throwing my hat across the shop. Then i notched out the side panel, dropped it down about 2.5" and completely re worked it from the ground up.

  9. Trunk space! A little, but more then you probably thought Tomorrow i will fiberglass the side panels to make them strong, they will be removed/reinstalled many times so i need them to be sturdy.

  10. Air vent reversed, now i need to get these fans to suck air through it. Exhaust on the passenger side. Mounted with sheet metal brackets and sealed with Second Skin. The fans don't fit down in that little crevasse so the next best thing was to put them right above it and make it air tight. Ran out of Second Skin in the black......had some left over SS from a while back when it was still foil-colored. Same shit just different color. I had just enough to get the job done. I just ordered a bunch more to finish the rest of the car. Should be here tomorrow.
