  1. go to a local mechanic place that does engine and shit, and let them do your alt and wires. just tell them that you want to upgrade the grounds and they will know what to do. or if they can't do the wires, just let them do the alt. when i first got my iraggi i went to a local mechanic place and he installed it for $80, and he let me watch what he is doing, damn it only took him about 15 mins. and the best thing is, i learned how to do it so i just did it my self after that.
  2. amazon has it at a cheaper price http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-AVH-P4000DVD...p;s=electronics
  3. very impressive score! congrats! and .25 ohm ftw! how did it held up?
  4. i'm selling my Kicker zx350.4, bought it brand new from sonicelectronix.com. its the 2008 model. been using it for about 8 months now. no problems, never failed me. Cosmetic is 9/10, i'll just need to clean off the dust. Works 100%. reason for selling: going with all sundown amps with my speakers. i might list it on ebay if no one is interested. price is 150 shipped. best price online no trades
  5. damn logan, doin it big! what amp will you use to power the best lvl 5?
  6. looking good man! time for a new mechman alt!
  7. get some used pioneers on Ebay, they have very cheap units there
  8. i like this format. its more of a daily driver system kind of thing
  9. depends on your what your car peaks too. mines tuned at 32hz and it does pick up lows but it peaks at 44hz. but yes 32hz is good enough.
  10. gymnasts can do that all that time, but still he's not a gymnast but he can do it!
  11. as long as you have a good electrical to support it and make a good box, it would definitely be louder
  12. idk if its the same for an 00 explorer but it looks the same. take off the kick panel. then you will see the hole that goes to the rubber boot there, i didn't even use a coat hanger for that.
  13. a quick google search lead me to this http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm
  14. if price is not an option go all out! just remember having a good electrical is a must. i say start on stock alts and go from there
  15. we have the same batts, you don't have to connect the rear batts to the alternator. just connect it to the hc1800 up front. what wire do you have? base the fuse size on the max amps the wire can handle. fuse the 2 runs from front to back(one near the front batt and one near the rear batt) and you can also fuse from alt to front batt
  16. i haven't tried fatmat but i'm assuming its almost the same as Peel N Seal in Lowes. if thats the case you will need a heat gun to make it effective. IMO don't put it in the roof because it might drip. get a butyl based one for the roof then use fatmat on your doors to save money.
  17. or you can just go with this kicker http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-CVR12D2-CAR-AUD...%3A1|240%3A1318
