Yea same here in MD. You only have to get a state inspection if you sell the car or if you get pulled over for like tint. But the police around here are pretty cool. They dont like go out of the way to pull you over for inspection shit unless its a light out. I heard some real nasty stories from people who live out there. Its pretty much impossible to have a modded car out there isnt it?\ But hey, at least bikes can go between cars out there. I remember the first time I went to Cali, we were sitting at a redlight and a hyabussa went right in between all of the cars. We were like what is that asshole doing. But then we asked the valet guys and they said its legal out there to promote the use of bikes for smog and gas use. You'd get raped with like 20 tickets out here if you did that though

A good about of my friends have Scion tCs. As far as exhaust, I would suggest the Megan Racing catback system. Its got a nice deep growl unlike many of the other competing brands for the tC. It has a nice deep throaty sound somewhat sounding like a WRX instead of a toyota. You will be more than happy with it, plus its fairly inexpensive.

Pretty expensive but it was all brand new and came with a 1 year warranty. I had them to a JL 1000/1. So I got sick of my JL setup and starting researching car audio and learned how much deeper it really went. So I sold my system to a friend and then went back into Westminster Speed and Sound to tell the guys what I was getting, a 12" Fi BTL and a Crunch GP3000D. I told him I was looking to start competing into amateur SPL comps and immediately the guy says, "Why didnt you just get a w7?" Im like, well because they are expensive over priced equipment. Hes like "all the people I have talked to that compete swear by the w7" Im just trying to hold my composure at this point. He was like Crunch is junk, that amp wont nearly make that much power. I just wanted to cock slap him on the forehead. Then the owner, Mark chimes in when my friend Bret tells him that he is getting a 12" Fi BL. Mark says, " the 10w3 is louder than that BL. A 10" 250RMS SUB VS A 12" 1000RMS+ SUB ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME. This shit makes me want to open up my own audio shop right next door and carry the same products as they have along with the other shit like DD, Fi, Maxxsonics equip, Orion, High end Kicker, Sundown etc and just under price every single piece of JL, JBL, Kenwood piece of shit and make no profit on them just to spit those other dealers. Now granted their demo truck is somewhat decent. They have the JBL 6000.1 to a wall up 20 10" JBL GTOs in a Ram. Kinda cool I guess.

hey man, Right now i have the crunch gp3000d hooked to a 12 BTL. I dont have big3 done yet nor do i have a batt in the back. But I have an optima red top under the hood. Im in a 2000 accord coupe. 90 amp alt, like 40 at idle. I am seeing voltage drops pretty bad with mine. My volt meter starts out at around 14.1-14.2 and if i turn the shit up, i see instant voltage drops. I would definitely recommend getting a new alt, I know I am.

Wow can you really do that Chevy? I have been wondering the same thing but never really figured you could. I would love to get a beefier 300amp alt compared to the one that they offer which is only 200amp for the 2000 accord. How the hell would you go about doing this?

Steve, Im sure you have thought about this so I have to ask. As big as you are in the car audio industry, why dont you open up shop somewhere? I mean hell, as great of vehicles you turn over and as many fans as you have, I can really see a shop ran and owned by you go places. Hell if it ever were to go in effect, I would fly out of Baltimore to Sac just to check it out. I know in Cali, there is a huge market for car audio since there are so many more people out there. I think you would really do well.

Ahh gotcha. I was kinda confused. As long as you know some sort of computer genre you are g2g. I personally have a hpdv6000 and i like it. I think it was a little over priced but it was a grad gift so its all good. Full loaded it was 1800 with an additional 3 year warranty. My suggestion for laptop brand would go to Acer. They are rock solid laptops. They are great for their money and are nothing but champs that can be used and abused. Newegg is always having great deals on them.
