  1. EXACTLY what I was just thinking. I'm $20 short for the battery I want and I don't get paid until Friday. I'm almost positive I'll miss out
  2. I don't see why that wouldn't work with Great Stuff. Just the end portion would harden up so you'd just have to cut right behind where it hardened and good to go... at least in theory that's how I imagine it lol
  3. Yup I forgot about the box all the way to the back of the trunk. that will work if you have the room to push it far back. build a box and try all different positions and see which one sounds best to your ear. that's all that really matters
  4. Just do a regular ported box. If you want loudest, do subs back and aero port firing towards the drivers side. That's what usually is loudest. I personally liked having subs and port firing towards the trunk MUCH MUCH better then firing foward sealed off. Never got the chance to fire the port to the side
  5. two 12's ported, firing towards the trunk or port towards the drivers side
  6. Torque are the numbers that matter. Horsepower is just a calculation. Super impressive torque numbers. It must pull really good now Add the 3 things Ray mentioned and you'll be golden
  7. In 1996 Ford painted a very limited number of Cobras and Ford Taura SHO's in a color called Mystic, which was chameleon paint. For a full color change it will cost between $5k-10k
  8. Steve how was it trying to drive the civic around?? That thing must have felt like a ride on law mower. That poor 1.6L never saw it coming
  9. I vote as far to the left side as possible, just so the bolts are easily accessible.
  10. I just picked up a 65" Tv for my house and regular cable just isn't cutting it. I'm not looking for anything extravagant, just a good way to watch movies and do other things. Does anyone here have experience with Apple Tv? What are some of the pros and cons? The only con I can think of with blurays is that I only watch movies once MAYBE twice, so spending $20+ for a movie I'll once watch a couple of times seems a bit excessive Or would I be better off jailbreaking my iPad and using that to connect to the tv and watch movies and seach the internet?
  11. Depend on the V8. I know the carb'd 350 engines have ~80amp alt. Get HIDs. Problem solved
  12. Dude check Syracuse craigslist, that's where I got the real world prices from. . eBay is your only hope for ever getting that much because people who shop on eBay are quite retarded. Don't get your hopes up on eBay fantasy numbers Wait so does that mean since you can get $300 for your old beat up iPhone then I can get like $750 for my unlocked 32gig 4? if so, make the sale and I'll give you $100
  13. I hate to piss on your parade but that phone in that condition can be bought for less then $150. 32 gig ones in mint condition don't even go for what you're asking
  14. I have the same car. I used about 35ft of wiring for the big 3, 1 run of +/-, and linking 2 batteries in the rear. I also used knuconceptz battery terminals for up front. Buy more ring terminals then you think you need, and a few extra feet of wiring. I cut a hole in the firewall and also cut holes where the seats mount so the carpet doesn't bunch up If you want a cheap and reliable 140amp alt solution, PM me (if you have a 4cyl)
  15. I've been running mine at .5 since April but I have very good electrical to back it up and don't drop below 13.5volts. The amp gets insanely hot and smells terrible but it's held up to my abuse so far. Only time it shut off was after almost 3 hours of full tilt listening
  16. Take a picture of the alt and the plug and post them up. I may have a very cheap 140amp solution for you

  18. Watch the ignorance aka hate that this thread will bring
  19. It's great for the money I've spent. I really couldn't be happier.
