Can somebody send me the link to the youtube video of D'more showing us how he clamps an amplifier? It had a part where he was explaining Phase Angles and power factor that I'd like to review. Thanks

Got my new box build from CJ18. I've never seen such a firm packaging job done around the entire sub box for shipping.
-
hope you had fun getting all of that off.

pics?

It's still wrapped up and sitting in the garage. I had food poisoning (this is my 3rd day but I think I'm getting better).
I'll need to find some time next week to open it up and look at the box. I have the flu right now also so I won't rush thing. As for installing it, I will probably do the swap at the end of the season because it takes repositioning some things in the trunk to get that box to sit properly.

I took out my rear speakers and now the inside of my cabin is 3 times as loud. Now I don't know where to put the extra rear speakers Pods?

The rear doors in my car didn't have speaker holes in the doors, so I cut holes, and then trimmed the metal in the door frame a bit so it wouldn't come in contact with the motors. I did the exact same thing you are doing. Btw you should totes get your name changed, you look like one of those spammers that come on here haha.

^ This. Might need a little fiberglass too

lol. I really regret having MoH.vze.com as my alias but that's a username I've been using since 1998 on a bunch of websites and I'm kinda attached to it.

That Nail Polish smell... weird clamp results... DC Audio subs not sounding loud like it should... It all makes sense now.

Either a bad amp... Or coils :/
-
or too cold.. my subs are not DC by the way but every morning it takes a bit warming up to start sounding good. they dont get loud and sound weird but after a few minutes they start to hit hard like in summer time
-
I've just finished switching the subs to fire towards the rear. I'm going for a test drive to see how this turns out.
I can't believe it took 1 hr 30 minutes to get the subs into the box. The original screw holes I had were going in all sorts of direction making it hard to screw the 55lb+ sub in the box ><

Cranberry Apple Juice with hypnotik ... don't do it! >

Alright. I am sick of this crappy ass sub box. I've e-mailed CJ18 to move forward with this new box project.

I just wanted to comment on how great the online tech support from oreillyauto was for me. I was looking for a particular Size alt belt and I learned a lot from the tech guy lol. Way better than Sears crappy tech support!
-
To kinda seal off the subs shooting into my cabin, I shoved two pillows on each side to close the air gaps. thought?

Have you clampped your amp to see how much power you are really getting? How much are you rising?

Damnit. My SMD inbox was full. That explains why I never got any messages >

It's going to be 200A Alt + XSD2400 +XP3000 + Yellow Top. Hopefully that's enough for 5K rms

What happened to that DIYMA topic regarding 50% ?
-
I stuffed all the "holes" or rather "open spaces" between my subbox and the car with bath towels to "seal" it from the trunk... wow the bass drops are so much cleaner and louder lol.

DAMNIT. I made my rear Knu battery to amp wires too short so now I'll have to buy longer runs if I want to rear fire my subs >
