  2. Hacksaw Ridge is a damn good movie

  3. I think mobile view is gone for good right now, but there's a "mobile friendly" theme you can select from the theme menu at the bottom of the site
  4. DD-1+ has the added bonus of allowing you to adjust overlap more precisely than just the -5, -10, -15dB tones on the disc. In regards to the CC-1, your subsonic is a HPF... send an email to [email protected] and ask what price they can do for you.

  6. Getting real tired of rolling and sliding to the edge of my rack when I try to sleep, and the barrage of shoes and boots falling off the tops of racks throughout berthing.

I worked for NOAA back when I was 18 and understand. We did a trip from Miami to Iceland and were in 50+ foot seas. My room was under the galley. Heard crap banging around while trying to sleep.  I would stack pillows behind me and get up close to the bulkhead so I wouldn't roll out of my rack. Everything that could tip over we tipped it before hand but crap still kept falling out of our lockers, the doors would fly open and bang. It was hard to sleep for a few weeks. It was hard to work in the engine room also with the heat and the rolling and pitching. Queeze stomach all the time.

  7. I have the same problem. I get this error message: Sorry, there is a problem The page you requested does not exist Error code: 1S160/2 are we still in the updating process, or is it a legit issue?
  8. ahh, I see now. same here. My bad, I misunderstood you. Weird how it's not there on the main page but it still works on the "unread content" page.
  9. underneath of the sponsor's links, to the right of the screen, there's options for "Unread Content" and "Mark Site Read"
  10. Yep. I'm using mobile now out in town. I can see everything that the computers on the ship don't let me see. Internet explorer blows...
  11. There's dots and stars? I just move my mouse around until it changes from an arrow to a hand and says show newest post. Ship computers suck
  12. you have to click reply. Or at least, that's the only way I've been able to view the rest of the status...
  13. Palma de Mallorca, Spain :) Really beautiful city.

  14. Update for the XS caps if anyone is interested. I asked about their pricing, release date, and where to buy for their preassembled banks, and the pricing on the individual cells and balancing circuits they offer, and here is their response (on christmas at that, which surprised the hell out of me.) Merry Christmas! The SB500 series pricing starts at $399.99 for the user assembled cap bank. The fully assembled bank is $429.99, and the sealed group size models are $449.99ea. The sealed models include our proprietary balancing circuit which can be purchased separately for $19.99ea. Individual cell pricing is $55ea for the 2.7V cells, and $65ea for the 2.85V cells. We hope to have existing orders ready to ship next week, and stock building up next month so all of our account customers can begin stocking them for resell. Currently, all orders have to be placed directly with us until we officially start shipping. Best Regards, Customer Service Team

I'm not sure if the Bahrain Dublin's had a good food menu or not.... But they have a pretty great bar :)

  17. you should DD-1 everything. HU, 3sixty, amps, etc. if it has volume, gain, or adjusts the signal in any way, it should be DD-1'ed
  18. no, two dual 1ohm voice coils = .25ohm parallel/parallel, 1ohm series/parallel, or 4 ohm series/series
  19. .66 is parallel coils and subs. a full parallel circuit, not series parallel. You add the reciprocal of each voice coil (1 divided by 4) and then get the reciprocal of the sum. so: y equals the voice coil resistance, and x is the sum. you have y, so you need to solve for x, and then find the reciprocal of the sum 1/ [x = (1/y + 1/y + 1/y+ 1/y + 1/y+ 1/y)] is equal to 1/ [x = (1.5)] so the reciprocal (1/x) of 1.5 is .66. That's how you find parallel resistance of a circuit. now the short easy way for subwoofers since it is assumed that all voice coils of a subwoofer are equal: you have 3 subwoofers with two coils each, that are four ohm. SO, 2x3=6 coils. 4ohms divided by 6 coils equals .66ohm
