SQL page on Facebook dont like the new amps from Tony. Laughed at price tag. If you are on the forum dont dog Tony or Steve on Facebook I will call you out in a heartbeat. They may act as friends on here but there talking about on other forums. You guys know who you are.

...look at pass labs. a 200w class A amp goes for about 21k$...Dunno what the hell people are talking shit about, $4k is a good price point. Unfortunately not a lot of people can afford that right now but that does not take away from the design or the achievement.

Nothing really, I spend too much time on here I think I have taken a couple things personally for no good reason. So I am going to take a step back. This isn't a negative thing. Also I have a whole damn build that I need to do that I haven't even really started because of car issues. Gonna hibernate from the internet until its done.

Two subwoofers of the same brand/model/size, one is in too small of a ported box tuned to 40hz, one is in the correct size ported box tuned to 35hz. T/S parameters change as you break subs in. Those two subs are broken in in different enclosures, so the T/S parameters will be different?

Or a umik and rew. I think it can do t/s parameters. The dats system is like 30more but worth it IMHO.

I know this question has been answered in several threads, but I can't find one. What's the SHCA 1/0 OFC current rating for 20ft? I don't have that long of a run, but that will give me a basis

From what I can tell 1/0 can carry about 350 amps for a typical 15ft-20 ft run. The second link has a calculator which is going to be conservative since its for standard 1/0 and not SHCA which is oversized.
(I came to this conclusion based of halving 2/0 capacity so take that with a grain of salt)
looks like 200-350 amp...

realllly wanna stick a light bar or two on the front of my pickup... just can't get over how "look how small my pecker is" the roof brackets make your truck look.

Rigid is the way to go. Although see them in person before you buy them, I was surprised at how small the D2s were. Also cool thing about the rigids is you can run the different colored lenses which is good for bad weather, the amber I found out is good for snow and really bad rain.
