  4. To say Kyle and Laura are super sellers is an understatement. I wont get into the details of out transaction but let may say that they both went above and beyond what the 'average" seller does. My 1st package arrived today and it was shipped very well! All teh items inside were as described, from the original boxes, to the condition, to the number of misc other goodies added. Doing bussiness with someone like this just raises the bar of my expectations. Thank you both very much. I cant wait till the 2nd package arrives an I look forward to wrapping up my end of the deal! THANKS!

  9. 10-4 Big D. You know I'm the same road as you with the testing. I figured the AD-1 is a combination of all these tools in a refined package. I'm not going to get caught up too much in some of the other details. As long as I'm being accurate I'm good to go. BTW, ready to let the original Fred Sanford go?
  10. Please correct me if I'm wrong Mr. D'Amore as these are questions and not statements based on my interpretation of your video and information. 1) The video shows the inaccuracies that can be obtained while testing a REACTICE load with the specific equipment listed only? 2) Based off what I saw is the Phase Angle Issue something encountered only when testing REACTIVE loads only and not an issue when testing a specific static load? 3) Is it possible to obtain measurements as accurate as the AD-1 using a True RMS VOM, A DD-1 or O-Scope to verify clipping, and a quality Clamp Meter? As the AD-1 I would imagine doesn’t have to contend with Phase Angle issues due to the load resistor bank inside it, or is there in fact circuitry inside it that does make these calculations? TIA for any info you can provide. Respectfully, RR
  11. I'm not even gonna lie, machines like this scare the shut outta me. All I imagine is one slip, catches a piece of clothing and you are DONE! I've been on the scene of some heavy machinery accidents and to me they are the worst by far. Business end of a gun is less scary! Somebody hug me, I don't think I can sleep now!
  12. Let me clear up my last statement above; The fuse holder can not hold up to the heat produced by the current draw. IRS not the current itself that melts the plastic. Also you said the dub amp has always had problems, what else?
  13. I've never ran fused bigger than 60 amps in those types of holders. Has anything changed to make your sub amp draw more current recently? It seems to be that the fuses and wires are doing their job just fine, it's the plastic that can't hold up to the current demand of the amp. Has the load the sub amp sees changed?
  14. Let me think about it. I may consider it. FYI its teh special edition D2 15". Dual 2ohm coils. I have less than 5 hours of play on it if that matters and if I sell would have tons of high res pics and video of ohming it out if you want. I'll even put music on it free air.
  15. When they were "engineered and made in teh USA" Went into my archives and found these! Accurate image line NEW in Wrapper! total of 9 6 10's and 3 12's. Opened one wrapper just for SMD AND THE BIG DOG! Enjoy!
  16. And for the record, there has to be a clarification when saying lifespan. If by lifespan you mean the amount of time it takes b4 an item is no longer servicable then a sup. should have several 10's of thousands of rounds b4 it goes dead. The major factor contributing to this is the material teh blast baffle is made out of and 2nd what type of round is being shot out of what barrel length. I can use my OSW SBR like a plasma cutter and destroy any sup in less than 200 rounds with it. On the other hand i can get 100K out of a sup whos baffle stack has a blast baffle made of SS or Titanium using a pistol caliber SS round. Gotta match the tools up properly. Now noise reductionis someting that will deteriorate over time and requires cleaning of the baffle stack in order to get all teh crude out and get your internal volume back. Think of the sup as a speaker box built to spec. As you fire your gun you leave behind traces of carbon and sut. This takes up space in teh can needed transfer the sound energy into heat, teh less space available to do this the louder your can gets. So if you shrink teh air space down little by little in your sub box, what happens? sounds liek shit. I'm real picky, so when someone brings up a topic I like to break it down all teh way.
  17. Not to be the odd man out, but everything has a finite lifespam.................... EVERYTHING
