I just recently got a brand new 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid SEL AWD about 3 weeks ago and it's in need of some serious audio upgrades. Basically the factory sound system sucks ass, but I love the factory display unit. I want to find a easy way to add aftermarket amplifiers and a subwoofer in the car without splicing any wires from the harness on my brand new car. So I've been trying to find a plug and play solutions that can help me achive what I'm wanting to do without messing up the function of the car. My Hybrid system as well as other things are controlled by that touch screen so removing it isn't an option. My searching so far has lead me to finding this DSP from Metra/Axxessinterfaces.com Axxess AXDSPX-HK5 I'm wondering if anyone here has had experience with using this system. I wanna know how simple/difficult it is to work with this system. Also if anyone has experience getting to the radio harness on the new Santa Fe that would be helpful too.

Bumping up this oldie but goodie here. So for the past 2 years or so I've been using this same T-Line box with this same now 14 year old Subwoofer from the now defunked company in my home theater build. I'm getting ready to build a second one as I have a still never used eD 13kv.4 subwoofer that I'm gonna use to have a dual 12 subwoofer setup in my theater room. Congrats on the new truck Steve. I love the new Caddie too. If I wasn't trying to buy a house here in the next year or so I would totally love to get a new ride. Even used that Caddie is out of my budget, but a 2015 Burban would be more my style anyway since I enjoy the bigger space. I can't wait to see what you do with this as far a sound upgrades, but I will indeed be paying attention to this for possible future ideas when I get my new truck.

It won't show any difference because the dyno measures horsepower and torque, not power-to-weight. Thanks. That's indeed something that I've learned new today.

nope. Im done with the Dyno. besides, on a Dyno, i don't see how the extra weight would affect it that much. It probably affects it more on the road then on a rolling metal wheel LOL also, with the system installed, the car probably will never see a track. I don't mind though, its FAST enough and gets faster when i hit that little spray bottle Thanks.

Are you going to get the car re-dynoed after this is done to see how much of a performance drop the car took from the added weight of the sound system? Just wondering.
