half gain, full gain, 3/4th gain.. none of that matters, its the voltage it receives from the head unit... if you send 8v, you could turn it up a 1/4th of the way and be at max power, or you can send it .25v and turn it up to 100%... if the DD1 is telling you its at what it needs to be for a undistorted signal, then it is

what kind of equipment are you even using? 1 8 wont really need bracing, where as 4 18s, would.. you an get away with out bracing even some of the lower end 15s

i use knu 8g for my speaker wire... and some people i know use 4g for speaker wire... but we also have high powered amps, so it helps some

louder seems to be subs up port back, but rattles like a mother fucker... clearer is subs up port up.. vehicle dependent though like a crx might like subs up port to the driver side..

did you set the all the settings on the radio to 0...? bass sublevel, and all that good stuff?

ok, had to make sure, because a ton of people will say shit goes low, but then you find out they are tuned to the 40s and the songs lowest note is like 38 LOL

did you actually look at a program to find the freqs or just going based off what it sounds like in your car?

subwoofer vibrations by bigpimpin goes down to 4hz, at the end, for about 10-15 seconds... titanic goes down to about 10hz or so, atleast the version i got, which, i dont know where its at bigpimpins shit goes super low, because thats what he loves

Honestly, Im 50/50, there was a news story about homeless, you know some people who claim to be homeless make over 100g a year? no joke, if you think about it, if at the intersection some one gives the guy a dollar, and that happens 30-40 times a hour, thats 30-40 a hour now times that by how long hes out there lets just say hes out for 8 hours a day.. 30x8 is 240.. now lets say he does that 7 times a week thats 1680, a week.... there are SOME homeless who really need help, then there are some who look homeless to take from peoples kindness

did you try plugging it into the onboard graphics card to see if it would boot up through that? i had a similar problem, and it turned out i plugged the power into the onboard card, and while i still had a power wire to my PCIE card, it wouldnt register it as the primary video card, so it would boot through the onboard, sounds weird i know, but try unplugging the onboard power wire, its a smaller one.. let me know how that goes, it was a similar issue i had, and this solved it
