  1. Smoove bought my Rockford Fosgate t2k. He was fair with negotiating the price. I received payment within minitues of giving him my PayPal address. Overall it was a smoove transaction! I would gladly do business with him again and also recommend him as a buyer.
  2. I've only read about them so I can't tell you if those are the ones made by TC sounds. I'm sure someone on the forum with more knowledge on the subject can help you identify them.
  3. With a quick google search I found the older Ti's were made by TC sounds. But don't go on what I say do some research and try to find out if the subs he's trying to trade you are the ones made by TC sounds and try to figure out what their worth.
  4. First off these threads are frowned upon because nobody can tell you which will be louder any answers are just speculation. With that aside what are the specs for the BTL enclosure? Because 2 12s in a proper enclosure should outperform an 18 crammed in your trunk in a less than optimal enclosure. Edit. More info on the eclipse subs would be helpful because, I believe a certin model/year sub were built by TC sounds and are supposed to be really nice.
  5. I have one. Depending on how much shipping is I might let it go for $400 shipped. Let me know if your interested.
  6. If you can go a little over your budget I have a stetsom 6k2d 2ohm version. http://www.stetsom.com.br/eng/DetalhesProduto.aspx?c=7879&cat=172 Edit. Just read the first post over and I missed the 1ohm part...
  7. I might consider parting with my t2k if the price is right.
  8. Yes a yellow top is a sealed agm battery so it would be ok. You'd be be better off with a xs power, kinetik, ect.
  9. I had a 15" BTL in the trunk of my 02, sub up port passenger side. It was like the 3rd box I designed and built tho so there's a good chance I messed up on tuning and air space. It's possible but like everyone else is saying a 12 in a proper enclosure is going to be louder than a 15 crammed in there with a half assed enclosure.
  10. I pretty sure there $899 shipped. That's what I paid anyways
  11. That don't work on mobile. OP- I found if click the little dot to the left of the title it will take you to the last post you read in that thread. But I guess that doesn't help if your looking at a new thread with a lot of pages and you want to skip around or to the last page.
  12. He's right tho and I think he's referring to the sealing your trunk idea.
  13. Only way I could see that working would be to weld the trunk lid closed and maybe fiberglass the the rear deck and other openings.
  14. Checkout my YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/slimstunna123/featured if you want to get some ideas. I have CAD iso drawings of all my boxes I could hook you up with when I get on my laptop if your interested. Edit: added link
  15. I have an 02 and have been through multiple setup's and even if you cut up the opening to the trunk inside the car I dont think you'll be able to get a proper size box in the trunk. Even if you do manage to get a big enough enclosure in the trunk you most likely won't have room in the trunk for the amps so those will have to go on the back seat. Then you'll realize well fuck I can't use my back seat now so I might as well build a big ass box and put it where the the seats were ( my current setup) or build a wall (this spring) Edit: for grammar
  16. If you click the little dot to the left of the title it takes you to the last post you read in that thread.
  17. The synergy series looks pretty nice and that receiver looks decent I think you would be happy with that setup! For the sub stage I'd recommend one of these http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=293-650 powered by http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=300-752 that would run you $358. Even if you factor in another $100 for enclosure building materials it would still be cheaper than the infinity sub and in a decent enclosure I think it would out perform that klipsch sub. I'm running two 12" epics one in a enclosure with the sub down firing and Tc's 15" passive radiator firing forward and the other in a sealed enclosure both powered by a QSC USA850 and they sound amazing!
  18. I voted klipsch & dennon because it's what I'm running in my HT setup. I have the old R35 series fronts, surround, bookshelf's, and center channel in a 7.1 setup and I love how it sounds (unfortunately my neighbors do not) it really gives you that theatre experience. I can't really speak about their entry level stuff (which is what I assume your looking at with your budget) but I can say I haven't heard a klipsch product I haven't liked. With the receivers, as far as I know all the brands you listed make quality products so pick one that best fits your needs.
  19. The new site looks good. There's a little typo on the home page it says "Every level of has the abillity...."
  20. I'm having a similar problem. I'm on an IPod touch and I'm constantly getting a error message "the server stopped responding"
  21. Looks decent. I'm not familiar with powerbass tho... I'm not sure how relible their products are.
