Backing up in traffic or at a red light because you were not in the lane you wanted is reckless and the judge is going to see it the same way. He is going to decide if you had an alternative to going the wrong direction and causing a collision. If you are at a stop it is not considered "tailgating" if the vehicle behind you is close. Unless your life is in danger you were at fault.

Wax and Grease remover from Wally World. Couple bucks and a life saver. Alcohol leaves a small bit of residue that needs to be cleaned up with water. Acetone will get fiberglass off of your hands but will NOT prep your painting surface. Trust me, I imbeciled my through some awful projects and learned the hard way.

I got one at AirGas years ago. I lost it in a move and will be replacing it soon. It was about $15.00. Any welding supply store should carry some sort of big wire crimper.
