Its a very cool experience. PA speakers do not lend to a SQ setup. they are loud and clear at high volume. When an SQ car is doing their run they arent trying to be as loud as possible. they are trying to blend and accurately reproduce the sound. its funny that people can be into car audio and not know what it truly means to have a sound quality setup.

or you could get rid of the boomstick mic that actually maxes out in the 120s.

if you are thinking of running PA gear you arent thinking of doing an SQ car. seeing as how you are from florida im guessing you want the street battle type stuff without going over the top.

ray how much space do you have between the rear seatsand your amps. do you have enough room to stack them?

higher end head units tend to come clip free. just another case of getting what you pair for. and think about how much easier your amp is working with that gain down.

Ray the only way you can test it is to drop the amp off the box and try it again. how much over the edge of the surround is it? you could be on to something

I really, really hope this isn't how you troubleshoot computer issues. How the hell would you update a laptop's firmware? I...I just don't know what to say. How's the Mac running slow? Booting up slower than a previous Mac? Applications loading slower than normal? Webpages taking forever to load? Could be anything from a defective hard drive to a dying wireless router. hehehe but its a mac! nothing ever goes wrong with a mac!

you say both the 40 hz and 1khz track did you try the 0 db track just to see if it will work. I had an issue with mine and it turned out to be not plugged in tight enough. tightened it down more and away we went.

keep in mind if you do that you'll have equipment over the window line and may hvae to change class. not sure what the rules are for what you compete in.

In theory you should seal the back as well. The camaros and firevirds are harder to seal the rear because of the hatch
