another thing to look into when getting into bigger compressors is if it is household or commercial electric.dont want to get a 220 compressor and not have 220 to run it.

about the 45s? I just dont think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. If you want to round a corner out thats fine. this is not rounding it actually just adds another angle in. Round is good. angles are bad. It also adds nothing for strength which alot of people think it does.

if its supposed to have 45s and those were calculated for volume then you are probably a little bigger than 2.4 which will elevate your tuning and then lower your port per sq in as well. if it was designed with the 45s you need to have the 45s. I think 45s are gay but thats me.

its less than 36 sq inch of port. does it sound like a whoosh a chuff or a whistle.

i dont think the 45 will help him here. its just going to eat up volum eand raise the tuning since he didnt account for it. being as its im assuming a small box with the port area given it could be a drastic change in tuning. what are your specs for this. how many cubes etc.

is the noise coming from the port? if so try smoothing over some edges in your port walls. round them over. is it coming from around the woofers? if so find some foam material not some caulk that will stick to your sub and look like shit and place it under the mounting rim. Next time cut your holes a little better too. if its port noise and you cant get it to go away by smoothing you are probably not going to be able to do anything about it. Is it almost a chuffing sound? As for my feelings on exo. I wont say anything. There is someone who is a memebr here who will get all butt hurt about his little buddy.
