You need to go get some quality tint. Check out Llumar, 3M, Solar Gard etc with low reflection %.

Some speakers do better with more power. I haven't tried your comps but as long as you play it safe you will be ok. I would be more concerned about under powering them and pushing them to their limits. For the cost of the Sundown amp I think it's worth it incase you want to switch it up a bit later.

I really doubt whatever actual power it does at 12v will be audible. If you strap the amps, you have to do it to 2ohm or you will void the warranty.

I think the Sundown 125x2 would give you a bit more flexibility. 200x2@2 ohms would do good on them, perhaps give them more headroom. If you want to go over the top get another set of those components and give them a DDS2!

Are you stuck between those two or are you open to other options in that price range?

Class AB will always suck more juice because they are less efficient than Class Ds. I think Ds are closer to 80% efficient whereas AB is around 65%.

Audioque would be another great choice.

If you can't find that unit at a local brick & mortar store then definately buy at an authorized etailer. I got my Alpine from woofersetc and don't regret it. Paying that extra is always worth it if something goes wrong.

I'd say the Alpine or Eclipse 3200. The Eclipse has 5V preouts and ESN too.

I'm sure if you put the train horn inside the car's cabin it would cause some serious hearing damage. Then they can sue you.

Fatmat is C R A P because it has asphalt in it. So does Dynamat Original, eDead and a majority of other CHEAP deadeners. Asphalt based deadeners are much more labor intense to install because you have to heat them with a heat gun. Hair dryers don't really get hot enough, you guessed it ... you can burn yourself too. Asphalt is much more heat sensitive. Thats why people report it falling off. The highest quality from experience is Second Skin. Dynamat Extreme is second best. Hushmat and RAAMat are pretty good. Stay away from asphalt based and get butyl based backing. The thicker the aluminum foil is the better heat dissipation and helps strengthen your sheet metal to avoid flex and vibrations. Also take into account that the thicker aluminum will cut the hell out of you if you don't use gloves. I got lots of minor paper cuts or deeper all over my fingers and palms when I installed Dynamat Extreme. If you end up using Second Skin please use gloves. The aluminum is almost double thickness of Dynamat Extreme. The thicker the butyl backing the more it adds mass to the panel you apply it to. More mass = better efficiency. RAAMat is technically the cheapest. However you have to double and triple the mat to be as effective as the more premier brands, such as Second Skin. A single layer of a quality material is fine for most applications. If you want more luxury quietness don't wast your money doubling up butyl products. Invest in a sound barrier material that has closed cell foam and a vinyl layer too. Luxury Liner Pro works miracles. Dynamat Extreme has a sticky but gooey backing. It is very messy, yet effective. Damplifier Pro is just as sticky, if not more, with a more solid texture to it. Do research and buy what is better on the pocket. I'm sure the difference between these two is inaudible. You will probably find Hushmat and Dynamat Extreme a bit cheaper on eBay. You get what you pay for. That is all. I hope I've been helpful lol.

I believe you would pay about double that if bought new. You can just send it to DD if it needs any parts. Their upgrade program is excellent.

That's the same location CDT's "upstage" is supposed to be mounted. Although your supposed to face them towards each other.

eDead is asphalt CRAP. Don't wast your time and money. Get SS or Dynamat Extreme.
