im pretty sure that this happens alot with mulitple alternator set ups. i think the mla module is supose to eliminate that and make them work together. how are the wired right now? -

amp powers on but has no sound from speakers..
cqtama replied to kickerfanatic's topic in Amplifiers
got pics? threads like this are much easier to help when you give us pics. bu this ^ check your rca's first. how are your subs wired inside the box? will you get sound if you wire straight to the amp and not through the terminal cup? -
wait so if basslova is correct that means if you put a funky pup on a kicker warhorse or t15k you will open up a new dimension and travel to a paralel universe... sorry it had to be done but yes amps X volts give you the maximum that amp could posibly put out before fuses blowing. only way of being completely sure is to use a clamp meter and dmm like it was said before because you cannot account for impedence rise and effeciency in that formula theres just to many variables without actual testing.

3 runs of 0 gauge
cqtama replied to Hdman87's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
it means they ran multiple lines of wire to rear of the car. for example i have 1 run of 0 because im not running that much power. but in order to properly suply power and not have your voltage drop instantly if you have more power you need more wire. so instead of running 1 line of 0 to the back of the car they run 2 or 3, or more. -
