    WheN I got my DD, I noticed alt whine as well. It turned out that a wire BEHIND my HU was touching metal which cause alt whine. Moved it and it's golden now. Only way to pin point is, as youalready did, recheck wires and grounds. If you for some reason had your HU playing and plugged/unplugged your RCA/s, it may them.

    sorry to post this in your forsale thread, but im curious, are there any differences between these and the polys besides the cones that you know of? freq. response? power handeling, ect.? all knowledge is appreciated! No idea, lol. I believe these came out before the polymids but no idea.

    SOLD AA 7" Carbon Mids Single 4 ohm, 125RMS iirc Overall - 6 15/16" cutout - 5 13/16" flange thickness - 3/16" Used. 7/10 cosmetic 10/10 function. Got these in a trade. Just a little too big to fit in my doors. There are a few blemishes on the surrounds of both mids that looks like glue or something. Also, one of the cones on a mid has a scratch on it (see pics). No stickers on magnets.. Not sure on price but some sold on here for $160 shipped back in Nov. so... $140 shipped or b/o Only trades would be for a big battery or 4 channel (100x4@4ohms min)
