  1. WOW that's gonna be nice. welcome to SMD too btw. i love sundown
  2. i know this is a difference scenario...but with my PS3, i have it hooked up to my PC monitor, which has no speakers naturally. so i have my red/white RCA's converting into a 3.5mm jack, which goes into the sound card of my PC, which goes to my 5.1 speaker setup. sound is fine, and actually with the quality of the speakers is damn good. no fuzziness or humming. and i get surround sound with games/movies. so yeah it's not in a car...but i had to basically do the same thing
  3. no sense in making 2 boxes. making swappable ports would be much quicker and easier to use than switching out boxes. i'm going to tune one to low 30's, and another port to 50 hz. i'd do that with both round ports and square ports
  4. i have an n93...the thing is the SHIT!
  5. for some...if you know what numbers you hit on a TL, put the meter where the TL was and do the same thing. i know my max, and the hz i played, so if i stuck it on a dash and changed it closely i could have somethin somewhat helpful for testing and stuff like that.
  6. i hear you on that!! my team be on a roll...like 2 or 3 ahead...then SOMEONE...just one...messes up and we lose and we all start hootin n hollerin n shit. good times good times...no flippy cuppy duppy tongitgh....just some drunkess goin on n thought i drop by n say HOLLA>...so...HOLLA! i'm tired as shit...g'ntie to all my homie g funks... (just wanted to use the smiley cuz i think it's sexy YEAH!!! grrrowl!!! )
  7. i love this song. it's the shit. gp...didnt your mother teach you that if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all?
  8. not necessarily. the cone area isnt doubling, and the power isnt doubling. tho...both power and cone area are increasing...he should definitely see an increase. 25% power and 25% cone area
  9. lol when i get home where there's sound, that is gonna occupy me for quite some time
  10. ah damn. footballs and cases. except my ipod is an 80gb classic. i'll see what i can give out when i'm home
  11. yeah the glue is tough. tho me being paranoid that i am with it...i still use just a couple nails to ease my mind
  12. lol damn...i feel like i was being brainwashed watching that video. glad i'm down here alone...
  13. i wanna know how in the hell you knew that video existed...and i just turned south park on myself ahhh...south park...i see where you got it lol
  14. lolol you lil fucker!! i clicked it just to see...and i had to go through the whole thing hahahah
  15. the tails were fine. you could still see when they came on, just not quite as bright. but the headlights were somewhat dimmer. i think he could have his brights on and it'd be like normal lighting. at least somewhat like that
  16. my friend had a set of these on his camaro. fronts and tails. i think he got em at advanced auto parts or auto zone. not quite sure tho
  17. smaller enclosures tend to hit higher on the meter, but you may lose around 1 DB on the low end around 30-35ish hz. i'm building my next box (if the t-line doesnt sound good enough) around 12-13 cubes for my 4 15's
  18. yeah...your specs are about right on the nail. i'm gettin the same thing. make the build...test it out...post a log ...and if you hate it, tear it out and rebuild it. fun times fun times right there as for the 1:9 ratio...i read that it's better to try and keep it more square, to prevent the 'pinching' of air coming out of the port. kinda like if you squeeze a straw almost shut and try to blow through it, compared to it being open regularly. but i could be wrong on that. someone can clarify that also
  19. what will be powering these? i'd consider going slightly smaller for airspace. and what are the specs of your box? length, width, and heighth? i can help you with the tuning and port area better
  20. general rule is 12-16 square inches of port per every cubic foot. with more power on hand...i'd generally go with slightly smaller port area. also you are correct, those are straight SPL boxes. made for one note.
  21. those pillars are damn sexy! doors will probably look equally as good. i'm lookin forward to seein the seats done tho
