  9. alright...so i got a crazy hair the other day and just started workin on my doors. what i'm wanting to do is put a set of 6.5" components in each door. i want somethin that sounds decent but cheap. i dont wanna go and spend a fortune on a set. less than 200 a possibility? i dno what brand sounds best for the price. how does MB Quart sound? i was lookin into the ESA-216 model or RVF-216 model. what other brands are good? boston acoustics? memphis? focal? i was leaning towards some focals but may be kinda pricey. also...i was reading a thread about placement. should i put the woofer and the tweeter in the door, and the midrange in the pillar for best sound? i was thinkin maybe running 3 pairs of smaller speakers, but if that's the case with the pillar, then i think i'd be better off with the 6.5's so i'm not fillin my pillar up with mids unless i get a 2 way system. and angles make a big difference? read that you want the speaker on the driver side aimed at the passenger, and vice versa. dont wanna get my panels done only to find out i screwed up somewhere like i said, first time dealin with some components. usually kept changing out subs left n right and never had enough focus on the speakers. hook a brotha up! so i been lookin...may just get a 2 way setup.
  10. yeah i hear once you play it on harder levels...it's just not shoot and kill. WHOLE gameplay changes. gotta use trees to fall and barrels to blow n shit. DAMN i cant wait to play it

  19. plenty plenty plenty of people run at 1 ohm. i got 2 SAZ-3000D(good choice on the amp too btw) and i run a pair of btl's @ 1 ohm. eventually i'm going to run them at .5 ohms daily. the way i look at it, is you're still going to need the current draw to pull 1500 watts, whether it's at 1 ohm or 2 ohms or 8 ohms. the big benefit of running at a higher ohm load is that the amp runs cooler, providing a cleaner signal since heat is an amps worst nightmare. but as i said, lots of people run @ 1 ohm, no problem. and mine run 2 subs a piece @ 1 ohm, and they dont even get warm. imo i think you'd be ok.
  20. ah yes i understand that way also. i like it more. more precise.
  21. HA! this girl at work calls me a player and asks me if i am. i tell her if i was, would i tell her? pfff women... it's like being a good liar. you dont tell people you're a liar or they'll never believe you.
  22. but then how you know it's in the direct middle? or that the cross hairs go straight across the exact diameter...not a lil smaller? they make a tool that you can use to find the middle. dno how big it goes, but it's very handy. hmmm...i think you could take a 90º angle tool and put it so that each side is on the edge of the circle (one edge on the side of the circle, one edge on the bottom) then take a 45º angle tool and line it up so it goes 45º through the circle. then put the 90º tool on the opposite side and make a line crossing the other. that should mark the middle
