  1. i was told they were trying to evacuate the store...and people werent listening. they were more interested in saving a few bucks
  2. yeah lol it did the same thing trying to go up a big hill in a ghetto-ish area the first time. barely made it over to a side road. i have an alt i can throw in there till i can figure somethin out with mine at least
  3. the video phone looks pretty cool. have you used one at all? how big is the delay in the picture?
  4. yeah my 19" is a widescreen and i like it a lot. so it'll hold me over till i have enough extra funds for a 22/24". and i heard little big planet is actually a good game it'll look kick ass tho regardless
  5. well...to update...i checked the voltage today before work. it read 12.2 volts. i started the car...and it went down to 11.8 looks like ima call ohio gen tomorrow and see what i can do. any other places you guys would recommend to get it fixed up? and maybe get it bumped up a few amps. ugh...hopefully this doesnt cost a fortune
  6. i have a nokia n93 i'm lookin to sell. comes with everything except the camera lens. including the video editing software it came with too. http://www.nseries.com/index.html#l=products,n93 there's some info on it. PM me if you're interested
  7. that's exactly what i love about it. i played the demo and it was fun as hell. ima get it on PC asap. hopefully for christmas. if not, soon after
  8. that's fucked up. greedy ass people...
  9. check into bioshock for ps3 too. i played it on PC and it was great, so ps3 is probably as fun. COD like chevy said are fun too. there's several shooter demos you can download too from the playstation store and test out too. left 4 dead (if it's out) is fun as hell. fast fast paced, and heavily relies on co op to make it through. ima get it for PC tho i think. but there's a few there
  10. thanks guys. i'll try that tomorrow before work if i can. dammit...it's an ohio gen and i've only had it a couple years hope it's the battery instead. i noticed when i switched the wet battery for the powermaster that when i'd go to start it...the car would bog down like it was gonna stall off. but...we'll see i guess. thanks for the info
  11. i tried searching first...but i couldnt find anything on the first 5 pages, and i'm pressed for time so i gotta post this really quick just fyi. but...today i was driving, and my battery light came on. last time this happened...my alternator went bad and my car died in a not so good part of town. so...it came on today, and i made it to work and back, but i'm not gonna chance it on far drives. my question is...is there a way to test the alternator to see if it's charging properly or not? i know the guy that towed me last time did, but he had some sort of box that did it. i'd like to check it myself if i can. or would auto zone be able to? i have another alt i can swap it out with...but that has to wait till tomorrow afternoon when i'm off work. and auto zone is right next door to me so if they can check it that'd be even sweeter. any ideas would be helpful
  12. DAMN! nice buy. and here i am thinking how cool it'd be to step my 19" up to a 22"
  13. hhahahah that second one had me rollin
  14. HA! i was gonna say to sleep in your car. hell ima do it whenever i get my stuff up and running and there's a show. as long as it doesnt interfere with work. hell when i was pipe fitting i had to drive my own car, and i'd get to the job site and have to wait for the others to show up and i'd go to sleep. and sleep on lunch breaks. makes for a good rest
  15. that's exactly what runs through my mind. big big wire...then gets pinched down to a small terminal. like a big 6 inch pipe with a 1 inch opening. you wont get that 6 inch worth. but...bigger wire does allow for less resistance. and with it getting pinched off at the amp instead of starting from the battery, i think you'd still see some sort of improvement
  16. search is your friend PC power supplies work, but will only put out so much current. bigger power supply, basically the more current you'll have on tap. but it'll cost ya. plate amps also work and are easier. but will cost ya. either way you're gonna have to spend some money unless you know someone with a beefy PSU
  17. ooooh! i'm very interested. tho, i most likely wont be able to get it till after christmas since i gotta christmas shop for everyone BUT! if you still have it then i will be more than happy to take it off your hands do you have the ipod cable for it? and the scratches...are they on the screen itself? or the black plastic part around it?
  18. good luck finding an alpine with 5v pre outs. some might...but i think most are 2v. i've only seen a few decks with that high of a pre out. that's when a line driver is your friend
  19. what about the wii? that's a console
  20. i havent found sanding it to be any harder than sanding wood. i used a belt sander on the seams and it'd just sand the bish down.
  21. x2 i was going to congratulate them as well
  22. i just used a nice heavy duty spray adhesive. 3m brand, cost 15 ish bucks. shit holds TIGHT too. get that and i think you'd be fine
