i've got the same type of damage on mine. only MUCH smaller. by the home button. doesnt actually get to the screen itself. just the glass on the bottom. sucks, but still works. tho lately it's been acting weird somethin FIERCE! i cant even explain it lol. sucks tho...if i lost my phone like that i'd go crazy. pretty much the only way i get ahold of people lol

those tend to be very peaky and not very musical. or very hard to get musical at least the only decent way i see two boxes working with two different frequencies is if you had separate amps on each box. the settings on the amp have to accomodate the box more or less

noooo dont build that. i clicked the pic and right away i can tell your port is way to thin. you want it a lil wider and not as tall to prevent port noise from the box. you want to keep the port ratio 1:8 of width to height. tho i try to stay a lil lower, around 1:6 ratio

that opening in the box is smaller than the port itself. that's bottlenecking the port. i'd open that up (if you can now) to the same size as the port so it wont hinder performance

derrick did some tests on these two. forget which models tho. the RF was a lil bit more power hungry and the sundown was a lil more efficient. i dont remember the other figures. it started a big pissing match tho.sundown products are great. very nice quality and CS. and they look purty too i have yet to see an unsatisfied sundown owner

if you add port area, you need to lengthen the port in order to maintain the same tuning as the port with less surface area. also...what do you plan on pushing this sub with? if you're on such a tight budget...i hope you dont skimp on the amp clean power ftw EDIT: i installed a couple soundstream T4 tens in my friends celica and they sound very nice. and they are very nice quality. imo i say you go with that. it's a nice product and you'll be happy
