    All this hype about caps got me thinking. WHat would happen if you have a big bank of caps in the trunk and get rear ended. If you have like 72 caps, thats a lot positives and negatives that could short. Just my thinking.

      I think once the initial power dissipates (which would be a lot of sparking like a strong arc welder) they would be safer in the end due to not having acid everywhere potentially and the fact that caps have much less reserve than batts

      Well caps would drain pretty quick. It's not like a battery where it'll keep going and going and going if something shorts
