    Some decks, you can add a click or two of sublevel after setting the gain. Get the gain set at zero sub level first, then with the same volume, see if you can add any sub level to it.

    Did you find the max volume on your deck with the DD1 before attempting to set the amp gain?

    The headunit is an alpine cde 148 and the settings are 0 to 15 Put it at zero, Then reset the gains. Once gains are set, try turning the sub level up a click at a time.

    What head unit is it? Does the subwoofer level go into negative numbers, like -15 to +15? If so, put it at 0.

There is so much raw terminal down there it is an accident waiting to happen. oh, at least i got my first real number out of the tercel right afterward. It needs work but its off to a NICCCEEE start My wife would have made sure I was ok, then the latin shit storm would come LOL. Lesson learned, though. In for Tercel numbers!!

    The noise from my AQ120.4 is getting worse and worse. Thinking about RF to replace it. T400-2 for my tweeters, and T600-2 on the mids.

    i don't know much about the amp, just figured it was 1ohm stable. This is the first link i pulled up and it looks like it is http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8653_MTX-Thunder-Elite-1501D-TE1501D.html either way, i did the test @ 1ohm lol - so it is what it is Alrighty then.
