  1. You're gonna want to get most of that rust off before you paint them. Get a whole lot of brake parts cleaner and some wire bristle brushes.
  2. They certainly look like HIDs. They have that rainbow cutoff when they're shining on a building, but I guess that could be a product of the projector and not the bulb. They came stock like that. I guess you're probably right about them being halogens with a projector. As far as why it pertains to the question; I thought you were asking about HID lights coming stock on cars in places other than the headlights.
  3. My Buick Rainier has HID lights in the fogs. But the headlights are normal halogen lights.
  4. QFT. He gave me a good price on a game as well. Shipping was fast and game looked perfect. Good seller.
  5. Is that the HD on Prospect and Bloomington? I used to live right by there. Nice flex, btw.
  6. Moved out when I was 18 and went to college. I guess technically my first year when I lived in the dorms I still lived at home here and there. But from my sophomore year on we rented places, and now my wife and I own our own home.

    AMP?????

I'm not sure that the saz1000d can be ran at .5 ohm so you may want to double check that if that's a consideration. Pretty sure the 1200D v2 will give you more power than the AQ. Jacob said that the 1200d could legitimately be called a 1500 watt amp.
  8. Read again. He said he has two subs. So he can wire them each to 1 or 4 ohm, then wire the two of them to 2 ohms.
  9. You could parallel the voice coils and run the subs in series, or run the voice coils in series and parallel the subs. I don't know if one way is better than the other, although I think I've seen people mention that they prefer to run the voice coils in series.
  10. Animals as Leaders. Amazing album, and the drums are synthesized, so they BUMP.
  11. I bet watching those 24 cones moving up and down would be mesmerizing. Sweet build.
  12. The first episode or two are kinda slow. It picks up a bit. There's some cool stuff and overall it's a decent show. Lotsa titties, which is nice. It also shows some sausage, which is not as nice.
  13. Not quite. Start at around 12 or 1 and then play a 80hz tone and back it down until you start to hear it get quieter. The crossover is not a brick wall. Even with the low pass set on 8O hz you'll still hear stuff above that. It'll just get quieter. How fast depends on the crossover slope.
  14. I have Dish. I've only had it for about 6 months now. I got the '$15 per month off for the first year' deal. I've never had any hidden fees, but have had to pay fees for this and that (I knew the fees were coming). I got Dish over DirecTV mainly because it was the cheaper option for what I wanted. I have the dual TV DVR (same receiver runs my living room TV and my bedroom TV). HD package and DVR FTW. The only bad thing is that my area doesn't get locals in HD. I can get them with an antenna, though.
  15. I've never heard of this. I know sometimes the PCM may have to re-learn some parameters to run right, but I've never heard of it not running.
  16. SAZ1000 won't do him a lot of good if he has dual 2 ohm subs and has a two ohm final load. You need to get them out of the box and look at the subs to see what model they are. And if there's no model # you can test the impedence with a digital multimeter.
  17. More like Zv2s. The new Nightshades are gonna be more for 2k+ IIRC. Edit: I guess you meant the current Nightshades. My bad.
  18. I never got a tracking number when I ordered my 1200d or my z15, but they both arrived quickly. I was curious about why but beings I got both things in a timely manner I didn't care enough to ask. Paypal has my correct email (I get all the transaction emails and whatnot) I check my spam mail Like I said, I'm not too worried about why I never got the tracking info, was just stating my experience.
  19. Tons of options out there. What kind of power do you have available for the subs? And BTW, if you want a 2 ohm final load from two subs, you need to get dual 2 ohm subs. If you get dual 4, then each sub will wire to 8 or 2 ohms, and if you wire two you either get 1, 4, or 16 ohms. If you get dual 2 ohm subs, you can series each sub to 4 ohms then parallel the two subs for a 2 ohm final load.
  20. 120 hz basically just exists to try to cut down on blur. Most 240hz TVs aren't even truly 240hz. One of the main selling features of those TVs is frame interpolation (AutoMotionPlus, etc) and they look like crap. LCDs in general FTL. You want a great picture without having to worry about 60 vs 120 vs 240 and motion blur? Get a plasma.
  21. BS. Harleys are loud because that is what Harley riders think is cool. I like the sound of Harleys, but I think if they're giving out tickets for subs they should be pulling over just about every damn Harley on the road. Those things are LOUD, especially when modified. There are plenty of motorcycles and scooters out there that aren't loud at all.
