  1. Get an AQ2200 and that should be enough for that sub.
  2. Could be a clogged cat, Clogged or non-working pvc, worn timing belt. clogged fuel filter or something else all together or maybe even a combination of things.
  3. I just got the Pioneer DEH-P8300UB a few weeks back after replacing a bad alpine H/U for $180 and i'm quite happy making the switch from it. I'm not sure if the CDE line is suffering from quality issues or not but it seems like they just aren't holding their own anymore compared to some of the other lines and companies. I would see what you can get for your range in price since you were going to spend close to $200 on everything and get something more capable with more options farther down the line if they choose to add some things to it.
  4. I hear ya man i got this PC 2600.2 for a good price and when i got it sounded great for a quick hook-up test before packing it away till i could use it, then when i went to use it it started making some distortion noises and such and had to have it repaired. So i went from a $100 amp to a $170 amp but i'm still happy to have it though even though it cost a bit more than i was hoping to spend.
  5. Something isn't quite right and certainly needs to be checked out, might want to try and find someone local to do a diagnostic on it. The shop i deal with does a $20 to check it out and apply it if you decide to have them repair it, so i would see if your able to get a local shop with something along those lines.
  6. Just for kicks swap out fuses and see if something happens.
  7. Depends on where he hooked power up at? Did he have the case open and connect to it from inside? Did he use the post coming off the board you plug plugs onto? It is possible that the post has lost connection preventing full power getting into the amp if the post is partially broken off the board. The problem with PPI's are trying to power them without the bottom on since that is what holds down the FET's but i would pop the bottom off and inspect the power and ground post carefully and make sure they are connected and solder is all good.
  8. For the price you get a processor and a damn good H/U so i don't see the price as too steep for a 2 in 1 package. Was saving for one till things in life took a whack at my budget and said no you ain't getting one.
  9. I would reboot the comp first to see if your still having the problem before going any farther. If so then as kranny said see if you can find what it is that is loading up and google it.
  10. To get something in larger sizes than that you'll probably need to order from a supplier.
  11. http://www.hobbylinc.com/cgi-bin/s8.cgi?tag0_i5=1524&cat_s=RGC
  12. I have tried it and don't like it, it enhances areas not quite to my liking so i leave it off and play with the EQ if i have to make a small adjustment for certain tracks or genres. As with anything that enhances the music it has to potential to cause you to clip and or distort the music, think of it as like a bass boost but for the full range of music though.
  13. I'm with TeamHT on this If i'm going to spend +6 bucks on a pizza then i want it made to order.
  14. The way some people today think is shameful on so many levels, this guy totally disrespecting the people that have given their life so all of us can have the freedom we have.
  15. Some great other vids on that site too The 2 balls and 2 girls was great.
  16. If you can dip it in water or something to help get it to slide down as fast as possible with little effort and as others have said the faster the better.
  17. What h/u? Some h/u's have a hard time with some usb drives and wont recognize them and depending on the h/u you may not have much more than 2gigs to play with before you get errors and or it won't read it. Make sure that all songs are not copy right protected, if you use something like zune and d/l with it you'll have to convert it from their format to a standard mp3.
  18. Sold for this price so it may get close to that if you get someone interested. http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Amps-4300X-USA-4300X-Four-Channel-Amplifier-OLD-SCHOOL-Hand-made-FLORIDA-/110741401666?item=110741401666&vxp=mtr
  19. Seem to be lacking the H-Pipe, X-Pipe and how they're used and why.
  20. I can't comment on what the dd-1 has since i don't currently own one, Something that was recorded with -15db is a far cry from something recorded at -3db and that was what i was trying to get across
  21. Since when does a sales person equal the quality of an install? Depending on genre you may have to over gain to achieve the best results because of the lack of lower end punch in that type of music. Your ears are the best equipment you'll ever have, depending on what a person listens to the dd-1, o-scope will be perfect for the their needs but when you listen to older classic rock and metal you have no choice but to gain higher than listening to bass heavy tracks. Sadly a fair amount of shops will try to sell you the shit they have had on the shelves for a long time whether it's some good brand name item or total garbage brands, but as long as you know what you want and not get sucked into his game you'll be fine.
  22. The take off shots through the clouds were amazing to watch.
