  1. no CVX is a 2.6" coil, completely different depth as well if you really want it reconed the only option you really have is sending it to PSI (he will NOT assemble a drop in recone and send it for the l7/cvx motors due to their strange coil and gap sizes.. he charges 175 for a pair, thats not including shipping or return shipping)
  2. try to stay away from ebay LEDs, mainly the ones from china.. yes they look like a good deal but are GARBAGE, if they get cold they lose their flexibility, and if you try to flex them they can snap, and sometimes LEDs in the strips can burn out i only use oznium LEDs, i had a local who wanted cheap LEDs so i bought the ebay ones for him, didnt last more than 6 months if you DO go with ebay LEDs, try to get the type listed above and not the silicone strips, those are the ones that will snap, but the ribbon strips will hold their flexibilty a very long time, but ive never used that type of LED strip
  3. a guy on CACO rents his out 150 cash upfront before its sent after he receives it back he sends back 125 in order to get your deposit back
  4. i wouldnt recommend the SPL coils if hes looking for more of a daily applicaton and OP, IMO your best bet is to build your own box from a proper design, that'll give you best results i had my pair of SA12s in boxes ranging from 3.5 cubes, up to 4.6 cubes on my saz3500d @ .5, daily without any issues, so box size can be as big as 1.75 up to about 2.25 or so my girlfriend has a single sa12 in her car on 1000w in a box thats 1.97 cubes tuned to 33hz, its actually on the mbquart 1000.1, the smaller version of the one you linked:
  5. like me but na, for real though on south salina st. right in syracuse.. there is this kid with a tricycle.. with a BUNCH of speakers on it, and 2 batts rolling around, i pass em everyday so i may POSSIBLY be able to get that shit on this cam if i got it LOL
  6. rockford t1500bd?
  7. my setup does a 147.8 sealed on the dash, and mid-high 146s to low 47s on music, mid 148s on music with front windows half down, 100% daily setup, tuned to 34ish hz 2 12s on a 3.5k
  8. The heat cover on the underside will often rattle as well along with the bumper it's self
  9. Loose remote wire? You'd be surprised, had an issue like this once for weeks trying to figure it out, turned out remote wire was loose
  10. If you want the iPod cable, I'll sell mine for like 10 bucks, I got a new one with my Bluetooth unit for my cda9887
  11. My guess is your ground, make sure the ground on the battery it's self isn't loose
  12. 60$ for parts is a lot, do that most likely includes labor Harness only runs 10-15 and dash kit about the sane
  13. Should be a crazy demo vehicle What kind of power you looking at?
  14. Do you think Boeheim knew? It's hard to tell, IMO I dot think so but who knows Funny part is, girl I went/go to school with, her step father is the one who this is all about, the guy graduated from my high school long ago It's stupid though, they said it happened from when he was 15 till he was 27? IMO its just homo as fuck if this guy was still Allowing that shit to happen when he's that old If it were me, dude woulda been getting his ass beat
  15. id say thats a good spot if you have a nice sized 45 in that corner to use as the mids "enclosure" if you know what were saying and im all for titebond, great product i use titbond III for all my boxes, gorilla glue just expands and oozes everywhere and is just a pain in the ass, PLUS if you were to do a whole wall in gorilla glue, youd spend 2-3x as much $$$ on it than what titebond would cost
  16. I've always used CA glue on my recone dustcaps I tried goop, even after curing 24hrs or so I still ran into issues with them flying off IMO though best glue for a gap is the rubber glue people often use on surrounds, I used a CA rubber glue on my recones for the surrounds from a local hobby shop, settles in 15-20 seconds and holds so good, costs a tiny more than regular CA though
  17. IMO in a real world setup there won't be much noticeable different the 2, both will do their rating plus some, clamp roughly the same numbers from what I have seen 3200-3300 +/-
  18. Jan-feb = perfect IMO
  19. my girlfriend has a single sa12 in her car on 1000w rms, box is about 1.97 cubes @ 34hz gets down pretty well
  20. either will work, id go with the 2k IMO, odds are woofers have a better chance of seeing their rated power + maybe a little more after voltage drop and rise compared to the 2k
  21. Are they all going to woofersetc or will you have a few? Lookin for one for my room setup for the longest time now
