  1. Today we did a deck 4 speakers and tint on customers 2005 toyota tundra. When he brought it in all was well. When we went to start it it was dead, not uncommon when having windows and stuff going with lights and testing the radio. Now it starts with the jumpbox but idles at 7.5 volts. Obviously nothing was working in the car. Any clue how this could happen? Were assuming alternator and are replacing it asap tomorrow. But what if this doesn't fix it?
  2. x2 with n8. If you get cheap suspension and somethin happens causing an accident. Well at that point your prolly spent more on the accident then nice springs would have cost you. Just my .02
  3. with all the shit your putting in why not just seal off the sun roof? or do you think its gonna be okay
  4. By all connected do you mean you're getting constant from the amp for your radio? And you checked the fuse on your radio if it has one? I suppose the amp could have took a shit and caused the remote to short out and damage the radio but not likely
  5. dont forget the build log! and box opening ftw! hahaa
  6. what are the specs on the current battery? im sure theres something better
  7. sounds like he has a lot to do but seriously i couldnt stand that going on. it just proves that it takes a special person to be military. i highly respect all of you out there sacrificing for our country
  8. You're prolly fine. No dusty roads or anything so I wouldn't worry. Cleanable K&N FTW!!!!
  9. x2 i always predrill and countersink when i use screws. ive got some bits that countersink for you that are amazing. using two drills helps too. predrill n screw on every hole and no worries.
  10. I have a friend with one. Ill let you know if he's willing to sell.
  11. Ive messed with both configurations in my explorer and it really depends on how big your box needs to be imo. if youre not needing some huge volume box that takes up the cargo area go subs up port back, if you are then sub up, port up is good.
  12. damn im jealous of how deep that cargo area is haha. but ya i agree box should be bigger. and seems like the subs gonna be awfully close to the port, that may cause a loading issue although your running a round port not slotted so maybe not
  13. i have and old KVT-617dvd and the nav box KNA-G510 but no wiring for it. if anyone has these im willing to pay $60 for the ones for the KVT-617 and $60 for the power n gps antenna for kna-g510. i know some of you guys work at shops and prolly have these pieces laying around somewhere so please help me out and make an easy buck! for the kvt-617dvd i need the 8 pin power for radio and the data cable from the radio to the brain. for the kna-g510 i need the power cable and antenna.
  14. My explorer had something like that. I replaced all factory wires with 4 gauge so I went alt to black box then to batt. Then I ran my 1/0 straight from the alt to the battery with a fuse near the batt
  15. i hope this isnt a repost. Stearus 2000 this things epic
  16. It could just need the parking brake override or you may need a special cable. I have the apple 30 pin to rca cable. It was like $50 from apple.
  17. Iirc hertz goes out of their way to ensure none of their products are sold online. So your not gonna have warranty or anything. Just buy them from an authorized dealer and enjoy
  18. I've found the knu rings to be bigger then stingers. I can't get knu wire in stingers without cutting some strands but stinger wire needs lots of solder to fill a knu ring. So I think it varies by whose wire you're running
  19. i say #3 i see what you did there. very tricky avatar haha
