Yeah its in the rules, there's plenty of reasons why it isn't aloud. Arguing for one but also its really hard to make comparisons because of all the factors in a build.

But a sub that's clipping doesn't make a round wave.. So if you go with a zigzag port and clip the hell outta your subs the shit is gonna pound and sound good!

It would give you more box area, I don't think a whole cube. No it does not give you more port area, I mean you dont have the subs in the port do you?? Basically inverting the subs is not going to make a very noticeable difference besides the looks.

Thats more often used for odd shaped enclosures. Seeing as yours is just rectangle shaped why not just use lxwxh.
