if thats what they recommend, then yes it is, people tend to go a little bit bigger for a more flatter response.

like jman said, a spl lab meter is the closest thing, we saw at a show a system do a 148.8 on the spl lab meter, and do a 148.8 on the termlab.

many people have told me at shows, that the dd-1 is for unedited music, such as not decaf, slow n throw, etc, Because it will clip still if it is, which i wondered why the hell did we get one if that is true, my bro smells his coils after 1 song full tilt on 4 sa-15s and a aq2200d and only drops .2v. So i would say find a 9v batt, and pop test the coils and rehook everything up. edit- which idk about the dd-1 thing is true or not. Would like to know though.

ive always liked 4th orders, before it became the new fad, they have really good bandwidth when designed right. With that much room you should just do a kerf ported box.

I usually set my subsonic filter to about 9 hertz below tuning, if you play below tuning you have more chances to unload your subwoofer, be smart with the volume knob.

Just remove the remote wire, and double check that the amp is off. If you follow the power wire their should be a fuse in the power run, if not, you need one, or else you have more chances of fire hazards. Remove the fuse and it cuts all the power from the amp.

i agree with everyone else you should not be dropping with that much electrical. I just had a redtop, and a hc800 and i drop to 12.9v full tilt at idle, and 13.1v at 2k on stock alt. with apsm 1500.1 and crunch 1100.2. Trickle charge all of your batteries, watch how the voltage will be so much better. My brother did that, before he was metering 148.X now he can do a 150.9 fully charged batteries.

i would do the ss damp pro, with a layer of luxury liner on the flow under the carpet, and trim panels so you get maximum sound quality, also add deadening do the back of the door panels, make sure they dont rattle either.
