I always enjoy seeing these older car restorations. I'm not a big fan of the car itself, but thats just personal taste. I do like what you're doing with the motor though, and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it once its done. Keep up the good work bro! Honestly dude, the off-brand eBay cables are usually junk. I went through several for my Pioneer A/V setup before I decided to just pay for the actual Pioneer cabling and it was worth every dime. One of the cables was pinned 180 out like you described too.

I used to have one of those amps too! And you damn near did have to run the gain maxed out just to get any output! My first real amp was a Rockford Fosgate 2300x, then a Jensen 200w that got passed around like a 5 dollar hooker, and somewhere in there I had this baby Sony amp that put out like 40 watts lol I'll see if any of them are still around n I'll post pics.

One of the people on my Verizon plan has the Droid X...and it is really cool. I have the regular Droid with the slideout keyboard and its pretty nice too!

Honestly I've had almost all the services mentioned here, and Verizon has been the best thus far. Excellent customer service and overall service. EDIT to say, you honestly probably dont need unlimited calling. I was paying for it and realized that it was a waste. Take your last year's worth of bills and average out the amount of minutes you used each month, and go one package higher. It'll save you a lot of money.

Here's my idea/suggestion. I understand your suggestion box is "closed" but I'd still like to share it with you. I think you should put in the SMDs, upgrade the batteries to the largest XS batteries you can fit, and just use the car/wall for fun and testing purposes to see what the best # you can get outta it and just something to have fun with. But for your son, I don't know how practical/safe it would be for him to drive his first car with a massive wall like that, not to mention kids in high school want their friends to be able to ride with them. So when it gets time to get the car ready for him to drive, remove the wall, do a trunk enclosure sealed firing forward similar to before, and do the 4 MOMO seats like you mentioned. I'm sure you could build an impressive setup for him in the trunk and still be able to maintain 4 seats for his friends. Maybe even build a custom center console going from the dash to the trunk for the amps and other accessories. Again, I understand you have your own ideas and suggestions can get annoying, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on this car. Regardless of what you decide to do, I'm sure it will be a very impressive and high quality setup and your son is very lucky to have it. Keep up the good work Steve! Wow...that's...different. I'd like to see what the RF amp is...doubt its all that great the way its setup. Why wouldn't you just run both subs off of the RF amp...? I cant sleep at night in a silent room...there's gotta be a fan or a TV on for me to be able to sleep. Silence almost hurts my ears cuz the ringing is pretty bad. Got it, used to it. Too much loud music/concerts/guns/explosives. Worst of all was a friend thought he would be funny n throw a firework in a trashcan...bounced out 5 ft from me...it was so loud I couldn't hear anything for 15 minutes. I wish I'd taken better care of my hearing up to this point.

Maybe you could add a bank of batteries inside the box to support the amps? And it would be a perfect project for your son since he could probably fit inside the box!

I agree with N8...those i7 processors SHIT on the other one. I've built several custom systems using the i7 and all of them surprised me with stellar performance.
