  1. idk if this has already been said, but its 100% true - Its not what you know but rather who you know. Use your personal connections to get you somewhere to start, and then make more connections through that.
  2. I thinks its a great idea, definitely something worth looking into!
  3. I was just going to say, that shit is phonier than a four dollar bill.
  4. Sounds good ! How long does it usually take to get a response? I sent it that night (the 21st) and haven't heard back yet. It's cool if it takes a bit as i can understand, but i sent it from my phone and sometimes it messes up my emails. Thanks!! Chris Harrison [email protected]
  5. this is some sketchy ass shit, i hope you find your amp. i would start at the address you sent yours to.
  6. And ya know what, I might just take the plunge. I'll shoot you guys a message.
  7. USAA doesn't write motorcycle policies anymore, they pawn it off to Progressive, they only write car policies now. Personally, I'd get liability and forget it. It may sound bad, but if you have an accident bad enough to have to file a claim, odds are you won't be alive to be the one to file it. It also helps if you're covered w/ some form of health insurance for minor injuries (broken bones, road rash), but as far as the bike, usually they are total losses. By no means am I suggesting not to get one, I'm a rider (05 Yamaha R1) and I love it, I'm just saying lets be real, on a rocket, you're living life on the edge. You're either gonna fall off the edge or you're gonna continue to make it. Oh yea, I would recommend theft coverage and uninsured motorist which you should be able to add to a liability policy. Correct USAA wont give bike insurance but they give you a major discount through Progressive. I pay $60 for 6 months with USAA! And i ride an 04 gsxr 600 and i just turned 21 in Jan. Daymn! That's what's up! Full coverage?
  8. X2 Yeah, im pretty sure until you're 24 or until you have your own homeowners insurance, if you go under your parents policy, you'll save a ton. I don't quite get it either, as we're older than 18, but that's just how it works I guess. But yeah, I go through American Family Ins. - and on my Yamaha 750 it's only 22 bucks a month and I'm 20. So find out who your folks have their homeowners through and give them a call and they'll hook you up. Good luck and ride safe.
  9. I like the first ones, super badass looking on that eclipse.
  10. Yes- but rather the issue is on a build that I haven't been following super closely, say it's 20 pages, and I'm on page 5 and want to go to the end, even though I haven't read pages 6-19. And ya, new content feature is all I use pretty much...
  11. Ya, I would only look for cars that have minor issues, such as bad brakes or exaust or ball joints/tie rod ends, and fix and then flip em. But ONLY if they're REAL cheap. AND, agreeing with the above, if you spend a good day detailing the FUCK out of the car, you can EASILY get 500+ more.
