  1. May be overkill now, but it does ensure max ability to pull current and the ability to upgrade his alt later saving time in upgrading twice
  2. congrats. although i really did enjoy being one of the only people here running AA, FI, DC, and DD. good luck on the business
  3. The thing people forget is, a square sub creates square sound waves, making it easier to exit a squared port. Round subs do best with round ports.
  4. and it doesnt even seem bass related. just some wanna bes trying to shoot their new hit made in their moms basement using stuff they learned on BET
  5. all i have to say is that wannabe gangster was a weak ass bitch. he took two shots at a bookworm and only managed to slap his glasses off? ha ha ha
  6. Ok Mr SPL, are you looking for two 15" subs? And under $200 a piece or for both? And what budget for an amp.
  7. thats dumb. you should know at least the space youre going to use, and what power so you can decide on an amp so you can then decide on a sub and voice coil configuration. i dont know how many people buy 1 ohm subs because they thought 1 ohm meant it was more powerful.
  8. its not the questions that bother me to be honest. the issue lies in the fact this is what...the second or third thread ASKING THE EXACT SAME THING in a week? thats pretty excessive. also when the car isnt even something he has or owns. his budget changes from $400 to $800 day to day and then he starts a new thread asking the same question.....again. i think going this route is just putting the cart before the horse.
  9. I have to digress. You were given great advice. You just don't know enough to understand the information given unless you are walked through every step. Worst part is...you don't even have the car yet, let alone a true plan and budget in place. Biggest issue is since you have no real idea of what you're doing or why, its almost impossible for you even to take a second and actually make a choice. It's like ricers of the audio world. It's hard not to click also since I am on this site about 99% of the time from my mobile. All I see is thread title, not the username. Get the car first, then get a budget. Then worry about the system. Until then, maybe start reading on this site to learn the basics of car audio. It will make everything that much easier and more enjoyable.
  10. Well its not hard to comprehend really... 1000 watts if wired at 1 ohm. Not really pulling a drastic amount of current. Big 3 can make a stock setup pull as much current efficiently possible.
  11. Ok, you've posted numerous times asking the exact same question. You've been given a lot of helpful knowledge both for quality and cash control. And now another thread...asking the same question. Here's an idea. Get the car first. The flip a coin. Then install and quit pestering about a car you don't even have. Yes, came off pretty dickish but this is like the 5th thread asking the same question, for a car you don't even own.
  12. Ninjad by boon OP, more to do? As opposed to your idea? Lol
  13. Damplifier pro worked wonders. But I get rattletrap much cheaper and after 150 sq ft I couldnt tell the difference. Fatmat didn't smell at all in my vehicle and did the job nicely

    Jl SUB

Ha ha ha, no 18" like mentioned and only SVC, lol. And I believe only the v3 even has a 2 ohm voice coil, lol.
  15. just curious, then why pay a shop ot build it?
  16. An AQ2200 will push both nicely. I'm also curious of box dimensions. I put a 15" BTL on an aq3500 and it was fucking beast.
