I agree. There is zero teamwork in cod. The best online play ive experienced is battlefield 2142

The COD engine is smooth but it feels like its 5 years outdated.

sadly this is the negative thing about laptops. even "gaming" laptops suck at gaming.

The single player is freakin amazing. The multiplayer, not so much.

Ive been wanting to ask this for awhile. I understand the point of wanting to use headphones if you are in an apartment, but what other reasons are there? Im using a set of logitech z-5500's on an HT Omega Striker and I couldn't ask for a better surround gaming experience. The reason I ask this is because I dont think I have an amazing setup or anything. I just dont see how a headset would compare. No headset will have the same effect of brutal power as the surround sound does. Plus, it sucks wearing something on your head the whole time you are gaming. If headsets somehow enhance the gaming experience more, by all means let me know because I'd love to try them out. In the meantime, I think im good with what I have.

sli makes a huge difference, but you wont need it. 1920x1080 isn't too taxing. edit: running metro on full settings is not cheap. any other game youll be fine.

I hate to say it but you made a mistake here. That 5770 that dstortz linked would have been amazing and thats an insanely good price.

I cant vouch for the phone in particular, but HTC makes solid phones in general.

I have not used either of those soundcards. However, I do use z-5500's and an HT Omega Striker sound card and I friggin love it. I dont think your gonna notice a huge difference between the two cards, but I could be wrong. Sound quality has to come from the source, aka the file you are playing. I have a couple opeth albums in dts and they sound amazing.

I dont see why people are discussing the video card. That 5770 will play crysis warhead on enthusiast settings at 1920x1080 around 27 fps, which is impressive for a midrange card. For single screen applications, the 5770 dominates almost every game. It looks like a good gaming pc. Personally I would recommend building one, but that pc is not a bad option at all.

Even if I had an unlimited amount of money to WASTE on an alienware, I wouldn't. The performance, value, and satisfaction you get from building your own rig is unmatched.

the 5770 is more than enough for whatever your doing at that res. I have one right now. I had two in crossfire and it was more than enough. The only reason you should need more power than a 5770 right now is if you are running 2560x1600 or some crazy eyefinity resolution.
