  1. Tastes like... someone poured koolaid into a 40oz of King Cobra. Not really bad but about half way through it starts to taste good, by then everything is all good though ha ha.
  2. Well I've done a few cars and trucks in the past but I've always used OEM parts. You can go to a junkyard nearby and pick up everything you need from a truck like yours. Motors, relays, switches, mouning brackets, and even door panels. I don't know your truck that well so I'm not sure it's a direct swap but every Honda or Toyota I've done was.
  3. Damn, ninja posted the years^^. I haven't found one for my Toyota but someone out there makes one. Leave a message when you call or email.
  4. Ya man, stick with school for now. Having a degree or certificate won't always get you a great paying job but going to school helps you find other opportunities. It's also something to do while you are making up yout mind. Many of my friends graduated in one field and right after switched.
  5. That's losa dough if it's all new. Nice setup but wire management is a must ha ha.
  6. There is almost no reason for a capacitor, a second battery is 100x better. Any charging system upgrades and have you checked your voltage etc? I'd say that amp won't be putting out max so yes with the gain down you should be fine.
  7. Man, that really is going to be secks. Should be a fun build to watch.
  8. Well to make it one-off and also easy why not get one and modify it yourself? I am a metal fabricator by trade and I'd start with a well built steel one as a blank and make my own design changes. Otherwise you need a few different machines and metal skill. Trust me, that would be the best way without tons of experience.
  9. That's basically the same design Meade used in the hoopty. That was with 18's and slot ports on the sides but basically the same idea. People told him it would cancel out and what not but he seemed confident and it hits 160's. Like all new designs, try it and see.
  10. Borla single 2.5" in and two 2.5" out. Real quiet until you get on it pretty good. That and add a resonator after the cat, that should make you happy and give good flow also.
  11. Good place for it, still have great access to the controls and it's out of the way.
  12. Maybe get a small loan from your bank. Then pay the bank back on your terms, I'm sure you could get a decent monthly payment option.
  13. I did the same thing but worse. Spent 6 weeks of my freshman year with a soft boot and crutches. That really got the chicks ha ha. Elevation, Motrin, and some good pain pills if you got them.
