  1. Nice man! You won't be dissapointed
  2. IT'S 10000 TIMES EASIER TO READ WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IF YOU TURN OFF CAPS LOCK (Yes, I'm a smartass )
  3. You're still looking for a problem? you think so? Even on 1000 watts you need a big 3? I've seen some cars have 1500 rms with no big 3 upgrade and some cars needing big 3 done with 750 rms. It's all about the specific vehicle/situation. Lots of variables....But the big 3 is a must IMO, especially if you're having power issues. Let me say that doing the big 3 is also a safety upgrade too. Figure that a 1000 watt system will draw between 100 and 150 amps, plus the stock electrical and BAM: you have 200+ amps on tiny little wires that weren't designed to go over 100 amps. Hello fire.
  4. I think that amp is
  5. i dont play my boxes below tuning but i would imagine a smaller box could play below tuning better. the reason being, a small box has more air pressure when playing. that pressure is a part of the speaker's suspention. more stiffer suspention means more cone control. thats why a larger box is more efficient, softer suspentions so the cone moves easier. It's always been my experience that a smaller box will drop off pretty fast below tuning, while a larger box will play a bit more below the tuning point before dropping off. I have no clue why though. It does seem to go against logic lol
  6. I would assume so since he said to call him to work out shipping arrangements. But other than that....
  7. It only has 40 amps of fusing, is not CEA compliant and they only give max power, not the rms rating. I don't think that amp will do 1600 watts even if struck by lightning repeatedly lol EDIT: OP, if you want to run stuff at home until you get a car, just get a cheap DJ amp. It's 1000x easier. I've been there/done that

  9. I didn't know BigPimpin did a version of this song
  10. What's it tuned to?
  11. Bigger box will play further below the tuning point, it will also be more efficient. But at the same time, have less power handling and depending on the application - might sound a bit more boomy vs. a punchy sound. I've always been partial to the sound of a larger box, but that's all personal preference.
  12. And I would edit your first post so this thread doesn't get locked
  13. The amp hours of a battery is just a measure of how much charge it stores. But is NOT necessarily how fast it can release it.
  14. ^^ That might be dependent on which program is used. I've never had an issue with that.
  15. I've done that, just cross it over a bit higher than the highest bass note, and use the steepest slope filter you can
  16. This song makes me want to shove red hot pokers in my ears....
