  1. I've been waiting for this game to come to PC ever since I heard it was coming out. Already have GTA 3, San Andreas, and 4 for PC. I am considering this game but I have more important things to spend money on and a new game has to wait. Plus I don't know how well it would play on my new rig.
  2. Great work. Always nice when you can go from meh (I'm guessing) to wow.
  3. Just when I think things are starting to go my way, my desktop is acting up. Twice I've gotten a blue screen while using it. With this store venture I'm trying to do I don't have the means to get a new one (this is rant). I knew this was too good to be true. Oh well, I gotta complete school and I'm very close to graduation. Ok end rant.

Best Buy is the devil. They load the computers with malware before letting them out the door.

  4. Nice truck can't wait to see what happens to this one. Always been a fan of Ford, but nothing against other makes. Wish I could drive my F-150 but bad starter and no license make that hard to do. Enjoy the new ride.
  5. Always nice when you send your laptop off to be repaired, and week later find out they claim they never got it. Not sure what's going on.

  6. New place this May

Here I thought I was doing this the smart way, instead of rushing into it.

  7. I have decided to say bye to the fine folks at SMD. I've just lost interest in car audio. Yes I know there is more here than just that. Nothing personal guys. I just think it's best I part ways. Some of ya are cool, others are not. It's been fun.

  9. First day at the new job didn't happen. Woke up with the flu. They was understanding and told me to call once I felt better. Hopefully this is a 24 hour thing

All I was saying is jobs like I've had, not all of them would through you under the bus. Maybe your job would, I dunno. Really I have to do is prove I'm a good employee. That's all this guy is looking for. I may have had a number of jobs, and that's cause I was a bit stupid when I was younger. Longest job I had was almost 3 years and most likely would still be there if I hadn't moved. I know I can prove that I'm a reliable employee at this new place. I'm sure they...

Called the office to see if they wanted me to start today. They said to take today off and just come in tomorrow.

  10. I landed the other job. I'll be pulling parts off cars at a local salvage yard. Only paying $60 a day so far, but it's 5 days a week so it's not horrible.

I tried that, and they told me because I'm eligible to get my actual license back I can't get a hardship one. Realistically if things go right with this new job I could have my license back within maybe a month an half.

Score some good parts while you're there and throw them on ebay to make some quick cash. And by score I don't mean steal, see if you get an employee discount. lots of desirable parts go through junkyards without ever being found by the people that want them, help them find them.

that does sound like a good idea

  11. If this dude doesn't show up by monday this other job is mine. If I do get it I'd be working 2 jobs 6-7 days a week. Should be fun right?

Sad thing is a lot of people in this town don't realize that in order to have money in the bank you have to work for it.

That's a lot of people everywhere not just where you are at, they all want something for nothing.

      hershy314

True but down here it's really bad. Worse than anywhere I've been.

  12. Might have another job. This one is pulling parts off cars in a junk yard. Winters at this job would suck here in Missouri but at least it's full time and something different from the food service crap I've been doing.

  13. Worked my second event today. Wasn't as successful as last week but still a good day. Then the day turned to shit, the vehicle I was riding in decided to up and die for no reason. It was fine one second and next it just died. Tried jumping it twice but it would die soon after. Either a battery or Alternator went bad. At least I got some free cookies out the whole day lol.

  14. I would say today was a success. Ran out of products to sample and the store ran out of the product I was sampling.

  15. Simple and clean always works out great. Makes me wanna do something like that, but sadly no vehicle to put something in right now.
  16. Just got the best email. It told me that tomorrow is my official hire date for my new job. I think I'll find out soon when my actual start date is. Nearly a year to get a job. Actually my last day of work was October 23 2013 so it has been exactly a year.

Nice, good luck at your new job!

  17. Just got the best news all year, finally landed a job. Nothing great but money is money. I'm going to be working as an event specialist, basically handing out samples and talking with customers.

  18. Could be getting back into my own place again. All depends on if everything goes the way I hope it does. No I won't be heading home just a place better than where I am.

  19. Came close to winning a new-ish car today. I had a key, stuck it in a little bit and the lights and chimes all came on but couldn't get the key all they way in to start it. Oh well, even if I had one I would of turned around and sold it. 2013 Kia Sorento was the prize.

Since I couldn't pay the tax, title and that crap I would gave the key to another person. But really Kia's aren't that bad.

Close to home is a plus. It's close to friends and family. I would be not that close to Ferguson (20 miles). The crime rate where I'm from is low. Hell it's the only place I've been that made me feel good. So I ask if moving home isn't some thing I should do then where would I go?

Follow the money, follow your dreams. Follow something. I consider myself to be from 2 places cause I lived most of my childhood in 1 town and the rest in another. I have no problem visiting. But to live there? You could not pay me or give me enough. Literally. Crime rate was low as the only crimes was public intoxication or spousal abuse.

  21. Finally found a way to get home....well almost, still need money. A motel near by has reasonable monthly rates. $680 a month that includes utlities plus internet, cable tv....I think it works.

  22. Being from St Louis what they're doing is pissing me off. They are making St Louis look bad, well worse than before. I really don't see any point in the looting. Protesting is another thing, though for a few days the media seemed to think the two were the same thing. Yes the cop could of handled things differently, fatally wounding the suspect probably wasn't the best way to handle it. Twice in the head seems excessive to me. Reading comments on FB and even on the rant and rave section of Craigslist I have yet to see one person offer a reasonable solution to end the shit going on in Ferguson. Sure I don't have one either, but at least I'm not going around saying the Ferguson should burn and all this racist bullshit I keep seeing. I know a couple people who live in Ferguson who are afraid to return home cause of what is going on. Should they lose their homes cause of whats going on? Hell no.
