AUTORAMA IS PRE-DETERMINED TOO!!!! I mean Florida is definately got some pull for Steve since he's got family out there. However, I know Steve I'm pretty sure would drive across country for SBN hell we can't even get him to come out to a local show half of the time. It is funny how, this is suppose to be about SMD and although the site name has changed the man behind it has not. I'm sure SBN has enough hype without attaching an SMD event too it. Autorama not only is convenient for Steve but, could use a twist on the show. Chip Foose has come out and a lot of vendors bring out there show cars such as Crossfire, U.S. Amps, of course ARC Audio. There are always a ton of hot rods and s how cars there already. Again lets just see if anyone can step up to handle the details.

WOW.....thats one hell of an idea. Steve really would have to sign off on it to make it official. Its an event like this that would need months of planning out. However, I have a suggestion: Sacramento hosts AUTORAMA every Febuary, now Steve has come out on occassion there to demo but, if someone was to do the leg work to attach this event to this already four day event in progress it would be hard for Steve to say NO. There are plenty of hotels within the area if SMD is part of the show whatever members can get there cars to Sacramento for the show case can have there cars in the exhibition halls during the duration of the show. The facitiliy is huge and vendors normally set up booths there already. Not to mention there is normally a competition attached to this event already. just my .02

Well a couple of things to take into consideration is color and material. Our first shirts ever were just some t-shirts. Which lasted for a long time. It wasn't until we went to finals we spent the money for some nice shirts. After that we put those away for special shows and had some Dickies made up. Some of the online sites will allow you to purchases shirts and they will embroidery for you as well but, its $$$. I"m not sure where you are from but try to go local is the best I think. That way if you need a shirt made in a hurry they will normall work with you. Our local shop worked out well I was able to pick up the shirt Wed. drop it off and had it ready by Fri. for a comp Saturday. First step really is to make sure your rides are easy to identify as being all part of the same team. The shirts should be second.

Zapco 9.0 crazy haven't seen that amp in a while...... Well brotha that is no way on the extra battery. That'll auto matically put you in street C. Which you might want to think about. 2 woofers in STreet C is 15's as compared to 12's in Street B. Do what ever you have to get a the biggest battery to fit under the hood. AS for the big three definately will help charging but for sure upgrade the alt if possible. Your gonna want that battery charged as fast as possible in the lanes thus, the alt upgrade. Good Luck.

<------not a noob........ Well first off, Good Luck Man!!!! I mean that sincerely, The statement of have fun can not be stressed enough. It is what its is all about. You win some you lose some but, enjoy your time at the show and learn as much as you can. Second, What organization is having a comp? If it is an official dB DRag event then the above information is correct about Bass Race. The dB Drag part is meant for you to play a single tone or sine sweep through your system. If its another organization like IASCA or USACi then the rules and classes change. Since you were looking on termlab the assumption is it is a db drag event. Third, don't be afraid to ask questions like you are now. Just jump in the lanes and go for it man once you've done it a couple of times you'll get it.

I was just discussing offereing this. Since the length of wires need to be some what close and each vehicle is different this would have to be a custom built kit we would offer. It would be complete with fuse soldered end connections and would be all 1/0. Need some basic information as far as alternator and BAttery(s). Then I'd need you to measure/trace some stuff with string and give me the lengths. The Cost would be something like $60-$75 shipped within the U.S.
