Sweet, hey maybe we can test it at the show sunday. My friend Jarred (SCS_Audio) has a Fluke DC clamp meter

there we go basshead. I mean Mike will clamp it too before sending it but it would be cool to find out what it's doing.

  2. if you're really worried about blowing the sucker apart then you can fiberglass it
  3. check your voice coils. I had same problem occasionally and it was because I did a shitty job at soldering my recone, so the solder broke and it was shorting out and going into protect when it would move enough.
  4. I'll be there at 5, save some food for me
  5. Yesterday's Taco Bell is making epic bathroom breaks today.

      "Amazing Alex" great time killer!

  6. I'm at .5 currently on stock electrical... which is bad. BUT I have duralast gold under the hood, big 3, deka marine grade about to go into the trunk, and a 220a H/O singer alt coming in this weekend. I suggest getting equipment that I listed Edit: 1ohm is better to wire at, more efficient, less chance of blowing amps. with box rise you may see > 1ohm when wired at .5 nominal
  7. cool stuff, I don't do live streams very often if ever Edit: too many people asking questions that can be answered simply by doing some research
  8. PSU engineering FTWThe weekend September 8th I'll be in State College for Triangle Frat stuff if you wanna meet up and basssss I live 25 min from psu You wanna meet up too? I'm not sure of food spots to bass in state college.
  9. lol glad I could help, you're welcome!
  10. if you want a paint that looks sorta like carpet then I suggest buying a fleckstone texture paint just grabbed this off of google

  12. I will probably paint it. I actually had to remove my trunk carpet just to even fit the box in, it's seriously crammed in there. Don't think wrapping it will let me put it back in. flaws show up much better if you use paint, plus you have to use a lot of filler and paint to get it looking great. I recently wrapped my current box and like how it turned out compared to paintfirst box: current box:
  13. my room mate is in CIS and he really likes it. I don't understand much about it, but I understand that it is a great major to get into.good luck
  14. looks great man. what's it tuned to? for the future, I would use the bottom link in photo bucket to get better photos
  15. this is a cool thread. I'm going into my 4th and last year of Mechanical Engineering Technology. Everyone thinks it's a 2 year tech major because it has technology in the name, but it is not a tech degree. Penn State Erie, the Behrend College
  16. upload to photobucket, in photobucket you will have 4 links below your pics. the bottom one is for forums... copy and past that one into your postnice avatar lolol Edit: fuckin ninja'd
  17. I've only dealt with fabric adhisives. what is LLP?
  18. What do you drive? I'll make sure to look for you there. I drive a red escort zx2 Ok cool. I have a red Mazda 3 Are you on a team and what class are you in? Nope, no team, I'm just getting back into bass this year. I just like going to shows but there aren't many near me. I'm not exactly sure what class I'll be in for meca. I normally compete in db drag street stock. I have 2 12's and 2000 watts in a trunk. 1 battery. you're louder than me lol. I'll cya soon then. I'm pretty pumped for this show, although my build is nowhere near complete
  19. I'll hit you up later this week if money is good. I really can't be passing up any good deals right now, but I have some other important stuff to take care of now thanks

Ahh gotcha. Those are tough. I dont solder them.

Try these. Much easier. Just make sure you get heat shrink to put over the connection.
