WI laws are 50% on front windows 35% on rear windows. I got 5% on the fronts, and 5% over the factory 35ish%. No issues yet... IMO 50% is a waste of money, you will barly be able to tell its tinted, at least do 35%. but doing the front windshield stupid imo.. If you ever get in a wreck and its not your fault, Im sure they will find every way possible to make it your fault, since its illegal in every state.

A sheet of wood only costs $30 or less, take some time working on your design and you will probably gain a lot if done right. ~Put your subs in the box correctly. Inverted woofers got played out in 1990. ~Masking tape has a time and a place, car audio is neither of them. If your going to hang up posters of your favorite pokemon poster in your bedroom or mask of part of a wall for paint, then masking tape is fine. ~After seeing your wiring method on your woofers, im almost afraid to see how your power wires look for your amps. It be a wise idea to invest in a distribution block or 2. ~Learn how to make all the wire strands fit in the power input for your amps.

Looking at an average of $200-300. But is the best in the business x2!!! Theres places like ARC and CIA Engineering that will fix you broken stuff on the cheap... But they will only fix what is broken, which leads to different date codes on the mosfets from different production batches, hell even different brands. All these things dont work good together because some will be weaker or stronger, and when you stress the amp they will just go snap crackly pop again! Been there, and done it many of times.. Plus Ive never seen a repair shop break off the old mosfets, solder the new mosfets to the old mosfet legs with big ol booger solder joints, and say good enough, without ever removing the amp from the heatsink! Lol DB-R is the win!

I think he only made a handful of boxes when he was doing it, then it got real quiet for about a year or so. However, he has his new shop now, and just picked up a awesome Milwaukee panel saw, so I think he may make some more again!

What kind of amp is it? Depending on if it uses vertical, horazontal, or 45degree mosfet mounting can determine if the amp will work ok on a box or not. Vertical fets are the worse and to many vibrations may cause the mosfet legs to snap and fry the amp. The way Rockford Amps are made and how the mosfets are mounted is what allows people to mount them on the box. I personally dont see a sheet of sound deadening of ANY KIND will eliminate the vibrations caused from mounting a amp on a box. The only proper way to do it is with 4 soft rubber type spacer/washer (at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch long to put between the amp and the box, and NOT tighten the mounting screws totally tight to the point you compress the rubber bushings fully.
