  15. Up for sale is 2 H701 alpine units. These are the very sought after processor units. I hate to let these go, but the times are what they are. They both come with power plugs ( not shown) The 1st one for sale is the processor as well as the c-701 controller Price on it is 460 shipped. The other one is just the processor and is 400 shipped. Features Product Overview: The Alpine PXA-H701 Multimedia Manager allows you to add multi-channel music and movie soundtracks with digital sound processing to virtually any system. It can be controlled by the IVA-D310, DVA-9965, and DVA-9860 head units, or used as a stand-alone system with the RUX-C701 controller (sold separately). The PXA-H701 offers Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, and allows you to connect up to three source components via optical digital inputs. In addition, you can make multiple audio adjustments using the built-in graphic and parametric equalizers and digital time alignment. Digital-to-Analog Converters: The unit is equipped with eight 26kHz/24dB MDACs (multi-level digital-to-analog converters). Digital Time Alignment: You can perform digital time alignment to correct the time errors caused by the major differences in the distances between the vehicle's speakers and a particular listening position. Time correction can be adjusted manually by measuring the distances to each speaker and applying time correction values to each speaker. Audible time correction can be made from 0.05 ms to 20.00 ms in 0.05ms steps. You can also perform time correction automatically when the optional RUX-C701 control unit and the microphone included with the controller are used. Graphic Equalizer: The built-in graphic equalizer allows you to modify the sound to suit your taste using 31 bands each for the front (left and right), rear (left and right), and center speakers. Adjustable frequencies are 20Hz to 20kHz in 1/3 octave steps. An additional 10 bands are available for the subwoofer from 20Hz to 160Hz in 1/3 octave steps. Levels are adjustable +/- 9dB in steps of 1dB. Parametric Equalizer: For correcting undesired peaks and dips at specific frequencies not affected by the graphic equalizer's fixed frequency bands, you can use the built-in 11-band parametric equalizer and tune to those frequencies. Five frequency bands can be adjusted for the front (left and right), rear (left and right), center, and two bands for the subwoofer. Levels can be adjusted +/- 9dB in steps of 1dB, and the band width (Q) can be adjusted in 6 steps of 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. Selectable frequencies include: Front, Rear, and Center: Band 1: 20Hz to 500Hz (29 steps) Band 2: 50Hz to 1.2kHz (29 steps) Band 3: 125Hz to 3.2kHz (29 steps) Band 4: 315Hz to 8kHz (29 steps) Band 5: 800Hz to 20kHz (29 steps) [*]Subwoofer: Band 1: 20Hz to 80Hz (13 steps) Band 2: 50Hz to 200Hz (13 steps) Active Crossover: The PXA-H701 is equipped with an active crossover, allowing the frequency bands to be split before amplification. You can activate two low pass and high pass filters for the front, and one each for the rear, center, and subwoofer. The front and rear crossovers can have different adjustment values for the left and right channels, if desired. All crossovers have a selectable slope of 6, 12, 18, 24, or 30dB/octave, or can be turned off independently. Crossover frequencies include: Front 1: (select Tweeter or Full Range) Tweeter: High Pass: 1kHz to 18kHz (cannot be set to "Off") Low Pass: 1.1kHz to 20kHz [*]Full Range: High Pass: 20Hz to 18kHz Low Pass: 22Hz to 20kHz [*]Front 2: High Pass: 20Hz to 18kHz Low Pass: 22Hz to 20kHz Rear: High Pass: 20Hz to 18kHz Low Pass: 22Hz to 20kHz Center: High Pass: 20Hz to 18kHz Low Pass: 22Hz to 20kHz Subwoofer: High Pass: 20Hz to 180Hz Low Pass: 22Hz to 200Hz (cannot be set to "Off") Media Xpander (MX): The Media Xpander makes vocals or instruments sound distinct regardless of the music source. You can set an MX effect level for each connected source. Bass Compensation: Bass Comp can be activated to accentuate bass frequencies. You can choose any of three levels of Bass Comp to suit your tastes. Surround Features Dolby Digital/DTS: The PXA-H701 can decode 5.1-channel Dolby Digital and DTS signals from a connected DVD player and output these discrete signals to the appropriate output jacks for front left, front right, rear left, rear right, center, and subwoofer preamp outputs. Dolby Pro Logic II: You can apply Dolby Pro Logic II processing on any 2-channel music or movie signal from a CD, DVD, FM or Satellite Radio. You can select Dolby Pro Logic II Music to enhance stereo music recordings, or Dolby Pro Logic II Movie to simulate 5.1 channel surround sound. In addition, you can choose a Rear Fill function for 2-channel Dolby Digital and DTS signals and output the front channel signals to the rear speakers. Speaker Setup: The PXA-H701 lets you adjust the output according to the playable frequency range of your speakers. You can designate the size of each set of speakers as "small" or "large" based on their ability to play sounds at 80Hz or lower, and set the subwoofer for "on" or "off". The level for each speaker (front left and right, rear left and right, and center) can be set in a range of +/-10dB, either manually or automatically. Phantom Center: If you do not have a designated center channel speaker, the unit can distribute the center channel audio information to the front left and right channels. This creates a simulated or "phantom" center speaker directly in front of each listener. The level of this acoustic center image can be adjusted within a range of -5 to +5, allowing you to shift the image from one side to the other. Standard/Maximum Sound: Dolby Digital are compressed to achieve powerful sound at regular volume levels. This compression can be canceled so you can achieve an even more powerful sound at high volume levels. You can choose Standard or Maximum listening modes to suit the level you desire. DVD Levels: You can independently set the output levels for DVDs for Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II, and PCM. Inputs and Outputs Left Side of Unit: RCA Outputs: 4 pairs of RCA jacks for Front 1 (tweeter or full range) L/R, Front 2 L/R, Rear L/R, Center and Subwoofer Control Unit: Round 13-pin DIN jack for connecting optional RUX-C701 control unit Mic: 3.5mm female mini-jack for microphone (supplied with RUX-C701 control unit) Optical Inputs: 3 TosLink optical digital inputs (with plastic protective plugs) for CD/DVD Head Unit, Changer, and DVD RCA Input: 3 female RCA jacks for left and right audio and "guide" (navigation audio input) Ai-NET In: Ai-NET jack for connecting compatible Ai-NET component such as a DVD player Changer In: Ai-NET jack for connecting Ai-NET CD changer Power Supply: 6-wire Molex jack for supplied power harness <a name="Specifications"> Specifications: Frequency Response: 10 Hz to 24 kHz Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 100 dB Channel Separation: 80 dB Input Sensitivity: 850 mV (2V for Analog 1 only) Rated Output: 4 V (with a 10 kOhm load)
  16. It was nice meeting you at CES Dale. I look forward to the shows coming up.
  17. Yup I made it last min. Hooked up with Aubrey and headed down. It's great to have good friends when your in a money pinch. I did what I needed to do and accomplished what I set out to do. I hope my point was clearly made, but in the end feel good either way. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to party with everyone. I was on a super tight budget. I hope next year we all can get together and party it up.
  18. Just got a call from Dave at Autosound. He says at first they acted like they never heard of me, then after a bit said they use to sell to me years ago. FUCK I wish I could go.
  19. Here is how you use couplers with all thread. And then a small pic of the carriage bolt on the outside.
  20. If you do all thread all the way through then you will have the thickness of the bolt on the under side of the box causing i to sit on the bolt and not the wood. The carraige bolt gives a nice flush nub on the bottom and top to be more flush as well as look better then a nasty ass bolt on top of the box.
  21. Almost word fer word in my text response last night Oh i trust you friend just seeing who else out there is smart:) you sure you didnt talk to him and tell him what too post? and by the way im pulling the box so i mite do allthread. or just screw it real good through the top and bottom I ninja edited his post to look good nah, Like I said before. pull that box and put some all thread in. I use 3/4 on mine. I do carriage bolt - washer/ wood / - washer - nut - coupler - all thread - coupler - nut - washer /wood/ washer - carriage bolt. Simple right
  22. Almost word fer word in my text response last night
