Helping someone grow into a serious competitor is a far greater value for the sport as a whole. I also understand the value in promoting a product in a professional manner at all times. That every time you are at a shop hosting a show, you have an obligation to talk to those shop owners and show them the products you represent. Being a part of a manufacture team means that you are a representative of them, You are the companies field expert. Any business you conduct, needs to be in the best interest of the people you represent. I have a decent amount of SS used, but I want as deadened as I can get as well as blocking out as much external noise as I can. What kind of 'layering' do I need. I've seen your post on how much you have in your truck from DIYMA, but was curious what you suggest. Between the damp pro/alpha tiles, then just LL pro? Or do I also need overkill? Educate meh! PM me if you have to. I started with 240sf of damp pro. I have some pretty open runs of un supported metal so I wanted to make sure I was able to control body flex. 2 layers in each door. Inner and then outer skin. single layer over the top of another product on the floor and then a layer throughout the roof with a second layer between frame supports. It is a noticeable difference in noise reduction and from rattles. I have no system in the truck so I have plenty of time to listen to road noise. Where I really noticed a reduction in road noise is when I added the LLP to the floor. each type of product offers a benefit in reduction to different kinds of noise. So a combo of a few different products in the right areas are key. When money is right I will finish off the Damp pro in the rear and get the Overkill pro for all the panels.

Look for the Skil Mag 77's one of the better saws out there and have pretty much been the same for years. Look for them at pawn shops. I recently bought a newer craftsman and it had blade walk like no other. Needless to say, It quickly went back

For a daily box, I wouldn't worry too much about them. Yes they can add strength to the corners, but if ya build a solid box it won't matter. 45's also don't always add spl

However a good sampler pack is a great way to get started on the wrappers you like the best. I like a more mild smoke when out in the garage working or out golfing. Maybe a nice Maduro after dinner and with some Jack. Lately I have be after the larger rings 50+ for my every day smoke. They last longer and have less tendency to go out when you set them down for more then a few min. The nubs are a great quick smoke when the mood is right

Well I guess you can look at it like this. Was said stereo truck ever at a finals, or was it ever a world record holder? That might offer some value to it. Another thing to consider is, who's been working on said stereo truck? Does it have potential or is it a gut and redo cause corners were cut. It sure would suck to pay for something just to take a sawzall and sledge to it

Personally I think any stereo comp truck is one tow away from being crushed. IMO it's not worth more then the wood thats in it.

If yer just getting going, then I recommend places like CI. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/ Prices are pretty good, and some of the specials they run are killer. Start with their sampler packs. Save the wrappers you like and narrow down your selection as you go. Personally I'm not a fan of the Cubans. I think the ones coming out of the Dominican Republic are a way better smoke

Plus there is plenty of old cars to look at. Shit ton of food and beer.... err i mean drink vendors. Even some races on Sat night. Plenty of Hotels near by with decent rates and safe parking.

The amount of accuracy depends on the scope. I think the point in all this that has been missed buy the scope owners is, What all do you use your scope for? I'm going to say that most of them only to use them to set gains. I myself use it for more then gain setting, but I am sure I am one of the very few that doesn't only mess in car audio. So for those of you that will never use a scope to its true potential a DD-1 is the smart buy. I know damn well, there will be one in my tool box one day for the quick and easy set for cars.
