Lifting and smooth don't usually go together lol if u have torsion bars you could level the front out or spend almost 3000 for a 4-6" lift kit without swapping axles. You could stuff a 31x10.50 tire under it and it'll be taller and better ride with more sidewalk than get air shocks for the back and it'd be nice riding.

I say v8, my buddy dropped an ls4 6.0 into his blazer and set it on 1-tons but that was a pain in the ass for a 4x4. Keep the 2wd and do your v8

I've only seen bilsteins on offroading vehicles but I have never seen their street line. I've got Monroe load adjusters on the back of my pickup to help with weight. They are a coilover shock that handle 1200 lbs extra beyond factory shocks, and with system weight they handle awesome. Just my .02

Its a long shot on the ignition but if it sends a faulty signal toothed transmission or if its intermittent, the transmission computer might think its malfunctioning completely. Check connections for corrosion and make sure everything is tight. If it still persists is have to say something is faulty with the solenoids they put in, but check the connections first.

Yeah i'm 23 so my eyes should be ok for a little while atleast lol. I'm gonna schedule an appointment to talk to them about it and get more information. A buddy of mine had it done and he sees 20/17 now lol. My mom had it done and she still wears glasses for certain things so i want to make sure i'm not the same as how her eyes were. I'll be soo happy to not worry about my glasses sliding down my nose when i'm working outside lol.
