  1. You should be able to get the sub out of the gasket with not much effort. Dont be scared! Lol
  2. It's pretty straight forward. Just make sure everything is properly torqued down afterward and after a little bit of driving, re-torque everything down. Oh and make sure you use jack stands and be safe. I knew a kid who was crushed under his car and died from not using jack stands.
  3. Yea you can flip the axle like that. If you wanted to go a little lower in back, you could buy some lowering blocks as well.
  4. Lol, yeah. I had already made a post in that thread. ;p He's a good seller and will contact you as soon as he sees the post there did you try sending him a pm?
  5. I have a x895, and am very happy with it. Only gripe is its hard to see the screen sometimes because of sun glare.
  6. I've always wanted to build a little boat like this. Looks like a fun project.
  7. http://www.wccaraudio.com/smd-distortion-detector-dd-1.html And here's the sub forum dedicated to it: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/forum/234-smd-distortion-detector-dd-1-topics/
  8. Like this: Batt----fuse-------------------fuse----batt And get the fuses as close to the battery's as possible so you have the least amount of unprotected wire as possible to short out on something and catch on fire. And make sure you fuse to the wire's rating. So if your wire is rated at 300A use a fuse no larger than 300A.
  9. Put the battery wherever your gonna put it, the run a 1/0 wire from + on front battery to + on secondary battery and then either run another 1/0 wire for the negative or just ground it to the chassis. On the positive wire, fuse each end of the wire as close to the battery's as possible. Edit- Ninja'd lol
  10. The 40hz tone didn't get crazy on my stock speakers when Orionstang helped me set mine with his dd-1. Just let em rip for a few minutes while you set everything
  11. Well, we all start somewhere, but do yourself a favor and save up some money to buy a 3/4" piece of MDF and rebuild that thing. It will be the best $30 spent on your system. Oh yea, and tits sound like a beautiful harp playing from the heavens by a beautiful angel...with big tits!
  12. That's waffle board, even worse than particle board. lol I stand corrected lol
  13. Looks like 1/2" particle board too Bet it sounds like tits lol
  14. Those side panels look fucking great man! I like how you made the curve on it. I might have to experiment with that myself. Hope you don't mind me borrowing the idea
  15. If you set the amp with a DD-1 then you leave it there. You DON'T turn the gain up after the subs loosens up. The gain matches the output voltage of the headunit outputs and has nothing to do with the subs breaking in.
  16. Man I wish I had some better tools...I used to have access to more but unfortunately no more I'll talk to a buddy of mine and see what I can work up, if you don't mind driving up here.
  17. Nice! At least you never have to worry about that guy pullin you over for loud music! Lol
