Same brand does not matter, same makeup does have a small bearing. The killer is Resting voltage. Say you have 2 optima yellows, one has a resting voltage of 11.7 while the other sits nice and happy at 13.1. The bad batt that sits down at 11 will drag power off of the higher battery until they reach a point of equilibrium. I have a Kinetic hc2400 in the back and a diehard gold advanced agm up front, both rest happy at 13.1 so there is no problem. Hope this helps a little.

battery help

Just wire the 2 batteries in parallel, + to +, - to -. Do not use an isolator. Make sure to fuse the + wire between the 2 batteries, putting a fuse within 18" of each battery. -
Not that guns are bad, im very unfavoring to both sides, but as kids I mean, no guns, I brought an airsoft gun to school in 4th grade to show all my friends how cool it was, only a few years after columbine happened, shit got crazy, dumbest decision of my life. I would have saved myself alot of potential trouble if guns hadnt been so interesting to me as a young one TBH I'm sorry, but you're an idiot to take any kind of gun into a school LOLOLOL.

Adding second battery
Lbox88 replied to Ryan929's topic in Engine and Performance - Anything for that couple extra horses!
Same here with my plus tho, I bolted the quick connect onto my front batt so when I pull in the garage I pop the hood, plug it in, and walk away.- 16 replies

As far as chargers go, I found I like my little Battery Tender Plus. works like a lil champ, charges at about 14.7 max and floats at 13.3. As far as other cheaper brands of batts, look into: NGT Xtreme Super Start AGM Diehard Gold AGM Diehard Platinum AGM Duralast Platinum AGM- 16 replies

"Hey kids, see our new tv? It only took me a month of rubbin' out fetus ammo twice a day to get that for you." -
Meh, for $200 I'd rather get a NEW Super Start AGM31T, rebranded Deka Intimidator.

Diehard Platinum PM-1 group31 batteries.
Lbox88 replied to Mostar's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
The diehard platinum agm batts IIRC are really just rebranded Odyssey. The diehard gold agm are rebranded Dekas, Along with Super Start AGM, NGT Xtreme, and Duralast platinum AGM. -

Trying to find the best bang for the buck.

If you only want to do 1krms, then electrical wise won't be that expensive or hard at all lol. Get yourself 2 DC level 2's or AA arsenals and a Rockford Fosgate t1000bd. Done. -

Honestly..... I would look at something more like the Fi SSD, Ascendant Audio Chaos, or DC level 3's. They'd give you the options of running up to about 1600-2k Wrms. Fi no longer has the X line right now, but AA and DC have lower levels than mentioned so that you could drop down in power and price if you wanted to. I also agree with LZTBRN, that doesn't look like 12 cubes at all lol. Might have to step down to 10's even, depending on the size. Get some measurements from that area so someone can double check what it is. Better to be safe than sorry. You also gotta think, even if you had 12 cubes down there, port volume is gonna suck some of that away right away. -
