    One of the higher up guys here told me to make a solid crimp, and then afterwards solder the bare wire sticking out by the ring if you use a standard solder type ring. That way, no matter what you do, there is no way that it can be pulled out, and you have a great connection with added insurance.

    same thing here but with a 3.4L '09 Equinox, tried singer, DCP, Mechman, even called Ohio Gen, they were the only ones who were able to tell me they could but no definite answer, just a probably.

    Just an FYI, factory integration can get expensive nowadays. Cost me $130 for the adapter in my '09 Equinox since it kept the factory door chimes, turn signal, onstar, etc.
