I'm gonna go with the USB connection then. Take the cord off and clean out or blow out both ends of the cord, and do the same with the connector on the bottom of the Ipod. Worth a shot.

No definite way to tell, but I just think it was a bad signal coming from the Ipod. How is it hooked to the h/u? AUX cable or USB?

Chrome is good. Not perfect, but good. It's a lot faster, but it's still got bugs. The only huge bug that irks the shit outta me the the crashing of shockwave media. Youtube is fine, but any videos that come from the yahoo headlines tend to make it crash. I can live with it though.

Get a variety pack of sandpaper.... 120 grit, 240 grit, and 320 grit should be all you need. But yea, your list looks good to start off with.
