    Yea, check the ground..... Run it off of a known ground like the radio if it's easy to splice into. If not, get some sandpaper and sand down a metal piece and mount it there.

    How bad is it dimming? Mine had that problem until I threw another battery in the back. Mine is wired up directly with the radio. Power from EQ to the power on H/U. Remote to remote, ground to ground. No problems with it dimming at all anymore.

    I remember my JVC doing that. When you go in and adjust what the RCA preouts go to, like rear or sub, you can also select "high power" or "low power". If you set that on low power, it sets the max volume at 30. Set it at high power and you can go all the way up to 50. It was a pretty nifty unit, never gave me any problems.

    I just installed these last week, they sound a shit ton better than the $200 infinity 6.5's I had in there. Well worth the 3 bucksin my opinion.

    Seal all the edges of the box with elmer's wood filler or bondo, soaks up less paint that way.
