my cousin runs 4 of the kenwood 12s (new style silver grey cone) on a audiopipe 1500d in his 1990 crx.. and they get bizzy for cheap subs in a big seald box ( his choice for box..space limits n such..i built the box).. Id say easy 140s on music and hes been killing them for 2 years now

back in the day i used to run 2 of the kenwood 800watt class d amps (had the silver top heatsink with fan on top).. they pushed my 2 sony 12s nicely lol.. used them for over a year.. decent lil budget amps.. i ran kenwood decks for 2 years straight.. every single 1 of them had a issue in due time.. like shutting off at mid level volume.. going into protect for no reason.. or not reconizng the usb device attahced..\ then i decided to buy a very high end single din unit.. best deck they make besides the flipouts n such.. it lasted 4 weeks and the face stopped working.. soo i sent it back got a new 1 and sold it on craigslist.. been running pioneer ever since.. or alpine.. i hate kenwood

why did you use 2x2s and foam to seal up the corners and stuff?? been doin this for many yrs an 1st time i seen that. them 2x2s take away a good bit of internal airspace esp in every corner

how come you have your center console all lifted up?? added new things to it?? vids r sweet too..just need some more woofer porn also with adding them extra c&d batts can you play longer? and safer?

maybe ur woofers dont like 6th orders lol free air them and then proceed with caution

so u swapped boxes and the issue went away??

^^^ thats because kicker uses a main coil (the 1 with the dots on them) his woofers have no such thing

maybe 1 has slight coil rub? causing extra friction?? free air both woofers and see if u hear or smell anything strange.. length of speaker wire shouldnt matter unless u have 1 lead 2ft long and 1 lead 6ft long..that might cause a issue then

ive had no issues with my 2 stinger voltmeters..1 of them is pushing 3yrs old and has been installed and removed from 6 or 7 installs.. the other is over a year old.. hook shit up right the 1st time and you generally tend to have no issues with stuff ive also had prolly 40plus customers who i recommend the stinger voltmeter to and they havnt had any issues either

get 2 audioque sdc 10s or 12s and a 1200d or a obsidian 10s or 12s and a audiopipe or dc sundown amp.. need a little more than 500 tho DONT cheaap out on the box..that is 1 of the most important elements to car audio...you can have 500dollar subs and 1000dollar amp and sound like ass because the box is all wrong DONT cheap out on electrical either.. always always do the BIG 3 upgrade and a extra battery

sweet just like i thought.. i do it 1 time maybe twice a week.. figured i piad so much for my new 3100 and 975 why not keep them happy most of the time right?? i also have 2 shuriken bt100s and a bt60 and 2 bt20s that sit on a deltran battery tender jr..keeps a float charge on em at 13v..

a alternator does not FULLY charge batteries.. just becsue you will always have a draw on it..running fuel pump etc etc.. i just have extra time every week and i pull the car in my garage and slap the intellicharger on it.. i just wanted to know if its actually bad to charge often??

ok so i got a few questions..here it goes.. how often do you charge your batteries?? using a intellicharger or the like.. and does it do harm to charge batteries 1 time a week? had a couple people tell me it is and some say its not..

i use circuit breakers.. those big anl type fuses tend to just melt all over the place rather than popping and killing power.. always better to be safe than sorry

^^ that will do fine.. then once they have 8 or 9hrs break in time on them you can wire to 1/2ohm and play it safe

i shoot ALOT.. somewhere around the 12000 round mark maybe more.. me and my stepdad practice with each other. bc hes got 400 acres his own reloading shop AND he works at fin feather n fur.. gets hella deals on ammo.. ive been shooting a gun since i was 6yrs old..ive owned a gunn since i was 12 ( parents bought for xmas gift..to me i OWNED it)..bc i learned everything on that gun how to clean it..proper technique etc etc.. at least twice a week we are out shooting.. anything from a lil bb gun to his ar15 and his long guns like his 7mag..im very skilld with long guns..with his 30 ought 6. at 250 yards i can do 1 hole entry for 5 shots.. my uncle was ex military sniper and actually killd some fukers overseas..i learnd from him also..

for daily use id stick with the 600rms daily meaning u beat on them for 1hr or 2 at a time my buddy has 3 oa 12s in his eclipse..gives them 1k each..BUT they canonly take it for 10 to 15mins before they need a break

stinger hpm series monster cable is good shok wire tsunami wire is good too.. rockford fosgate wire.. JL audio wire is too knu konceptz ofc is good too.. the list keeps going

the gas tank is right below that spot..i wouldnt advise mounting them there.. unless u used pieces of wood and they sell heavy duty adhesive actually glue them to the car metal itsself.. and then build your platform for the amps.. does that make sence?
