cars and suvs sound completely different... typically the back seat blocks a lot of air and dampens the sound a bit... suvs usually seem to be louder if you were to put your exact same system in the trunk of a car... you'll more than likely be dissappointed

yeah in the summer months i see my amp gets up to 114 degrees easily ... that fan should help but its still going to get hot just because a car is a moving heat magnet.... your car can get up to sometihng like 160 degrees.... which is crazy.

me and a friend of mine (who for the most part know what we're doing when it comes to basic installs) were hooking up a system in a kids truck. it wasnt anything big... just a simple amp/sub setup running wires and everything nothing i havent done 100 times... the set up was basically setup and we were almost ready to bump... and so we connected the power wire to the battery and then we plugged it into the amp... and we heard the starter click... and wer're like wtf? then we did it again... and the truck almost STARTED. if i didnt pull the wire away im sure the truck would have started? has this ever happened to anyone else??

at first i was like oh shit! then they replayed it a bunch of times and couldnt stop laughing!

thats a great way to release it... just be careful hitting that thing... i know many people who thought they were tough shit and the first time they hit the bag broke their wrist!
