Yeah I think I even had that experience with a cheap batt like Keith said. Put a proper battery in there, you'll definitely notice a difference in where you can set the gain lol

Yes, be sure to swap out the battery in it if it's been a while. Will give you a funky reading if low

how many amps will you be hooking the subs up to? you could wire all 8 D1s to a final load of 0.25/1/4 ohms or wire all 8 D2s to a final load of 0.5 or 2 ohms. That's assuming you have one big amp where you're wiring all the subs together

SMD is a blessin my friend Markie Mark showed me this and hes all in to car audio and ya i like bass but man idk im not real into it but im really into photoshop and VEGAS pro which is photo and video editing i love to show people success and good looking photos and videos and impress there quality and thoughts on just a IMAGE or Video...these days u can take things to a full effect and thats what FROST FILMS is all about

So could i be having instant voltage drops that dim my lights but don't register on my stinger POS meter? Just changed to OFC, holding almost 14 volts now vs 12.2. But my car lights still dim when its full tilt.

Don't know why people avoided your question. Yes it's the POS meter. Doesn't register as quickly as something like the VM-1. I used to have a Stinger and can attest to that

Was curious about what the effect of cold weather is on your subs? Is it okay to play them with little volume or just nout use them at all?

I've heard that since all the parts are cold from the weather, when you start heating them up (voice coil) condensation can form. Sort of like taking a soda from the fridge and sitting it on your desk I guess. It'll 'sweat'

excited finally got a few things in, a few XS Power bats, OFC SHCA wire 0,4,and 8 gauge wires, copper lugs & heat shrink, , random things like fuse blocks and fuses, and something little from Toolmaker just to name a few.
